nice location, bad room condition
It is located very close to the sightseeing, and train stations. However, the room is not well equiped. The carpet is worned out, and the both tub is very small. The buffet breakfast is good, and has many choices.

Excellent value for the money
The Best Western Rothaus Luzern was one of our two favorite hotels during our 4-week vacation in Switzerland. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was ideal. We felt very central to all the sights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered a lot of variety in the menu. I had a shrimp Alfredo tagliatelle that was delicious. The complimentary buffet breakfast had an impressive variety and was our favorite during our month in Switzerland. They even remembered that I liked decaffineated coffee.

Short walk from hotel
We liked the location of the hotel. It seemed central to a lot of attractions. We were walking distance from the very photogenic covered bridges, the old city battlements, as well as great shopping, even a grocery store.

Gute Lage in der Innenstadt, allerdings hatten wir ein Zimmer zur Strasse. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Behandlung an der Rezeption. Kein Kaffee / Kaffekanne am Tisch im Frühstücksraum. Der Kaffee muss tassenweise von einer Kanne geholt werden.

ottima posizione in pieno centro città. disponibilità e gentilezza della receptionist e della cameriera al bar. camera un po' piccola, ma molto confortevole e pulita.
