A central location next to the train station. Convience is the keys. Tourist Info Office is jsut across the road. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful.

Single room was good. Some might find it small, but it was of similar size to other single rooms in European hotels. Location was handy for the train station and walking into town. I did read reviews complaining about the noise when leaving the windows open at night, but too cold when I stayed and no problems with noise when the windows are closed. Power points where in inconvenient locations, especially for using a lap top. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food in the attached restaurant was good.

Accessible, well located and friendly
I got to Luzern at early morning by train. I got out of the station and bang! there was my hotel right in front of me. It was around 8.30 so I was not expecting to have my room ready, but I took the chance to ask and surprisingly got it!I stayed at a Junior suite [...] so it was a great deal. The room looked fully renovated, in the top 6 floor, very confortable and with a bathroom out of this world.Also, during my stay my camera got some problems and I needed some small screwdriver to try to fix it, and the staff managed to get it to me, too! Unfortunately, the camera did not make it, but the help from the front desk ladies was great.Breakfast was buffet type, quite good. I did not use the restaurant for other meals, though.Check-out was 5 minutes [...] and only had to pay CHF 2 for internal tax.In summary, it had everything I was looking for... and a bit more.

Short walk from hotel
If you can afford it, lunch at the terrace in Hotel Balances in a sunny day is worth the money! Bring sunscreen or a good hat, though.

The rooms were large and beautifully
The rooms were large and beautifully furnished. Location is very close to old town and next to train station. Ideal for travellers by train. However, expected breakfast to be better as the rates are quite high.
