The historic hotel building, under heritage protection, dates back to 1895 and was completely refurbished 2004 with the aim of restoring its original splendor. The ALDEN Hotel Splgenschloss now combines fin-de-siecle elegance with the high-tech comforts of today. - Loft Suite
- These suites are 66 or 85 m2 in size and boast a stylish modern design and layout, what make them different to the other suites. There is an 8-metre long wellness bathroom with whirlpool, a separate shower and a shower toilet in the bathroom. The larger suite features a seating corner, a big dining table and a king-size bed. In the smaller suite you will also find a seating corner, a writing desk, a king-size bed and a sauna. Both suites are equipped with two laptop-size safes with a charging plug. You can watch TV (flat-screen) from the living as well as from the sleeping area. Enjoy the warm sun on the large terrace above the roofs of Zurich, boasting superb views towards the Uetliberg. Teak sun loungers invite you to relax and a dining table allows for culinary pleasures under the open sky.
- Presidential Suite
- The presidential suites have two separate rooms, they are 85 to 95 m2 in size and boast artistic historic parquet floors and exclusive, partly coloured stucco in the salons and the bedrooms. They are our jewels! The furniture and accessories perfect the rooms as a complete artwork. In your drawing room each day will be a gala and your bedroom is your private luxury boudoir. The breathtakingly large wellness bathroom is your private Spa area. It features a whirlpool, a shower and a shower toilet, dimmable lighting, Venetian stucco and antique dressing table. There is also a separate guest's toilet and 2 laptop-size safes with charging plugs. Both rooms feature a flat-screen TV.
- Deluxe Room
- This spacious room is 60 m2 in size and offers a charming atmosphere with exposed wooden beams, a seating area and beautiful prints of old Zurich. The room boast a laptop-size safe with a charging plug and a big bathrooms with whirlpool, a separate shower and a separate shower toilet.
- Junior Suite
- These suites are 60 to 65 m2 in size and offer 2 separate rooms. In the salon you find a seating area and a dining table, where you can dine in absolute privacy or meet business partners. The separate bedrooms feature a king-size or a double bed, plenty of storage space and a wardrobe. There are 2 laptop-size safes with a charging plug and flat-screen TVs in both rooms. The spacious bathroom (in some suites with daylight) boasts a whirlpool, a separate shower and a separate shower toilet. The junior suite in Swiss Chalet style is especially popular. Mountain feelings guaranteed, even in the busy city!
- Suite
- These suites are 70 to 85 m2 in size and offer 2 separate rooms. The salon features a parquet floor, stucco or exposed wooden beams and a tasteful mix of modern and antique furniture. A comfortable seating area and a large dining table are there as well. Enjoy a drink on your charming small Art-Deco balcony. The stylish bedroom features a king-size or a double bed and plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and the chest of drawers. 2 laptop-size safes with charging plug and flat-screen TVs in both rooms complete the up-to-date equipment. The stunningly large bathroom features a whirlpool, a separate shower, a separate shower toilet, dimmable lighting, Stucco Veneziano and an antique dressing table. Separate guest's toilet. - Executive Suite
- Two separate rooms, 95 m2 in total, equipped with a tasteful mix of modern and antique furniture. The very spacious drawing room with its charming bay in the castle's tower boast a large sitting area and a dining table for feastful meals up to eight persons - it is also suitable for holding discreet business meetings in the drawing room. The bedroom offers a lot of space and a home-feeling atmosphere. The breathtakingly large wellness bathroom is your private spa are. It features a whirlpool, a shower and a shower toilet, dimmable lighting, Venetian stucco and antique dressing table. Separate guest toilet.
