Comfortable, high quality, good amenities
This write up is based on my 4th and fifth stay at the Dolder Waldhaus. This is the little sister to the newly refurbished Dolder Grand which is about a quarter of a mile up the road. The Dolder Waldhaus is removed from the street noise of Zurich but is in easy reach of the city center - virtually 5-8 minutes. Dolder Waldhaus rooms with balconies have a wonderful panoramic view of Zurich. You get to the hotel by cab or you can take a charming tram that is right next to the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from a principal golf course and running/hiking trails just above the city. The pool and sauna remain excellent but they could use some upgrades to the exercise equipment.The restaurant is quite good with a new chef. There is a very small business center or you can use access laptops through a wireless system at a small charge. Service is outstanding; the rooms are high-end contemporary, clean and have virtually every amenity one would need. I continue to see this as an island of comfort and tranquility during my occasional travels through Zurich. I highly recommend the Dolder Waldhaus.

Short walk from hotel
Great golf just up the street. Fabulous running and hiking trails also a short walk away. Exceptional additional dinning opportunities at the Dolder Grand, just up the road, or by charming cog-wheel Tram into the city -- a five minute trip.

Sehr gute Verbindung zur Stadt durch Zahnradbahn und Shuttleservice, Parkplatzangebot in Hotelgarage ausreichend, aber Garageneinfahrt sehr eng.
