Cookie Cutter
This is a typical Holiday Inn Express...location was excellent, just a 3-4 minute walk from the Rumlang Station (S-5 line). The bed was of the cheapest variety, no support and for mature adults, uncomfortable; the internet was "limited", and only 30 minutes free. BUT, the biggest concern--their driveway has a median that is bordered with a metal edging...it sticks up about 3" above the driveway and there are two high intensity "street lights" within this median to provide lighting...One was burned out the evening we were there. My spouse & I walked across the driveway to the sidewalk, and as we crossed this graveled-in median, she tripped, going down on the gravel, hurting her hand, hip and knee, breaking the glass on her I-pad and almost RUINING the end of our European trip. After considering the situation, we filed a report with the Manager on Duty, who assured us our report would get forwarded to the General Manager. We have NOT heard from anyone there as of yet, and are considering our options. Breakfast was acceptable, the front desk personnel were WONDERFUL. We will see about the resolution, however; good van service to ZRH, but a grumpy driver. The room was clean, minimalistic but they need upgrade to the mattress!!!

Short walk from hotel
Short distance to ZRH, and some low-budget restaurants within 5-minute walk. Great location to train, airport, but no "personality". There are better values...for another 50-100 francs, you can get a MUCH BETTER hotel.

Good for one night close to airport
For my purpose the Hotel just fit perfect. Only one night and have had to go to airport early in the morning. The shuttle bus to the airport all 30 min and the breakfast starting at 4am was just perfect for me! Although I have to say the breakfast was not really worth, tables all dirty (even at 6am), there was some Yoghurt in the corn flakes and also the cutlery was not very clean... Still its a good value for money for transfer.

Convenient
Close to airport and highways. Quiet location. Great breakfast buffet. Busy hotel, lots of guests, but quick front desk service. Conveniently located next to Migros shopping center in walking distance (grocery store). Perfect location for day trips in central Switzerland (i.e. Bern, Zurich, Winterthur)

Take the hotel shuttle to the airport and then take train anywhere you need to go in Switzerland. You do not need a rental car if you stay here- use Shuttle to airport then use public transport.

Such a comfortable place. Wish Holiday Inn's were as nice in the USA
Arrived exhausted and got a good night's rest and a wonderful breakfast before our flight home. The only down side was the food in the evening. It was pretty terrible and very expensive.

Good for the money
This room was a good value booked online, but only 10 minutes of free internet, even if you went downstairs. Room was modern and nice with nice bath. Breakfast was appealing. Free airport shuttle service was not assurred at the time you need it. If the van 'filled up' with prior seat reservations, you might have to go to the airport 1/2 hour or hour early to be able to get a seat. 15 minute van ride to airport.
