Not 4 start hotel standards...
The hotel is nice and room as well. The walls are nicely decorated however the bedrroom was tiny, the shower as well. The painitng on the wall was falling off . Overlall this was not the high standard I expected for a 4 star hotel.

Over Booked & Seriously Rude Bar Staff!!
Booked this hotel as an emergency and discovered they had severely overbooked their rooms. Before we were put up in a hotel at another location, we had a drink in the hotel's bar and were disgusted by the extremely rude behaviour of the bar keeper. The guy was lucky I didn't punch him!!

good for 1-2 days in zurich
Nice hotel, but doesn't deserve the "boutique" title! The staff is amazing, really friendly and helpful. Nice rooms (each one is unique), but really cramped shower stalls. Close to a tram stop, and zurich is such a small city that location hardly matters. Good for a quick and comfy stay at a no frills price.

Get familiar with tram # 10. It'll take you from the airport to the hotel (winkel something strasse stop) and onwards to zurich hbf main train station, which is a perfect launching pad for forays into the old town where most of the landmarks are.

Centrally located, Noisy as %%&*
The location is ideal for a Zurich trip, its clean, staff is good but the road noise is super super loud, the temperature was such that we had to keep windows open as there isn't any air-conditioning (in a 4*, who would have thought!!) you can hear every lorry, tram, bus, car, bicycle, ambulance. No sleep guaranteed. We complained and they gave us a silent side room, was also good, not much noise can be heard, but they did charge us 50 bucks a night extra over the agreed rate.

Quality hotel with friendly service
The staff at this hotel was very helpful especially condidering English is not their first language. They knew enough to help me on my trip

Come in, Sit down and Relax Here.
We were just there for one night on a quick stopover and found this Hotel to be very modern and cozy and convenient. The service was excellent, warm and very friendly and I would absolutely refer this place to anyone coming through Zurich. The room was so welcoming and inviting. The only downside was that the duvet was a little small for the bed and the beds were stiff, but that's a personal preference. I can't say enough good things about the staff, though! They were superb!

This location closes shops early on weekend nights, but the Carvery next door was open and the restaurant Hot Pasta just down the hill was tasty, reasonably priced, very cozy and friendly.

A Very Nice Hotel
A really central location, 20 mins walk from the city centre and almost by a tram stop. Very useful for travelling in the city around the area. Even though we were on a main road and right outside roadworks, they did not disturb us, and did provide some amusement. The hotel room was well equiped and very clean, and staff on the reception desk were very polite and helpful. This is a hotel I would recommend to anyone.

Buy a day pass at the train station for use on the tram system. It's the best 8 francs you'll spend in Zurich. Super fast and reliable trams in Zurich make exploring the whole town do-able in a day.
