Novotel Zurich Airport Messe

The hotel is perfectly located for a stopover stay between flight connections being both near to the airport & a 15 min tram ride to the centre of Zuirich. Rooms are clean & modern with freindly & helpful staff always at hand

Was in Zurich on business for a few nights. This hotel is convenient to the airport with a tram stop right outside the entrance to the hotel. I was able to take the tram to and from both the airport and my meeting location. Room service was quick and tasty. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel very smart and clean. Reception staff very helpful. Room and duvet far too hot and sheets rough and itching. A very poor nights sleep as a result when we really needed one.

Easy access to the tram. The tram system is easy as long as you are in by 12:30 am, after that it just stops wherever you are, we ended up walking several blocks and then catching a cab. Thankfully Zurich felt VERY safe so this was all good. Didn't eat at the hotel, too expensive. Did enjoy a beer at the bar and a great jar of complimentary peanuts. :)

Hotel is well-situated for airport access with clean, contemporary design. It advertises a bar/lounge but was not in service. Restaurant offered limited fare, well-prepared yet outrageously overpriced. The bad...bath linens did not accommodate the number of guests in the room and after 2 requests of the housekeeper and 1 of the manager on duty, none ever arrived! Sharing towels and washclothes isn't fun! The ugly...with one exception, the desk staff was incompetent and profoundly rude! No response to the linen request; failure to provide the requested wake-up call therefore barely making the last plane out of Zurich; DOUBLE CHARGING for the room and refusal to review the final statement of charges until I produced my own copies of prepayment and only then begrudgingly reversed the improper charges; overall indifference to proper guest service. The really, really ugly...the male front desk clerk literally fighting with a guest on the reception area floor because their room had been sold to someone else! An appalling experience and therefore I could never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great room, quite, many english tv channels.

The staff were competent but not overly friendly. The rooms are small by American standards but not by Zurich standards for the price. There is free plug in high speed internet in the room or you can pay for wireless. There is no shuttle to and from the airport so you will have to take the tram or taxi. The room was extremely quiet and neat. We were by the elevators and you could not hear people coming and going. Also, unlike America, where even when you put up the "Do not Disturb" sign, you will still get woken up by people checking out and housekeeping banging around in other rooms during the morning hours. Not so here. Completely silent, even with a full hotel. It is about 25 minutes by tram to Central, the main part of town, but easily accessible. The station is right outside the door and the tram runs almost around the clock with the exception of Sundays with fewer runs. Very nice public transportation.

Staff was very nice and helpful. For Americans - food prices are considerably higher that we are used to in the US. Since near the airport not many other restaurant selections w/out going into town. Lounge/elevator very smokey if you are not used to smoke.

We had two days between the end of our Rhine cruise and return to the U.S. Lindbergh-Platz was a perfect location ... really short walk from the hotel to the tram stop and a quick trip downtown. On our departure day, just a couple of tram stops to the airport. ATM just around the corner from the hotel. Front desk sold tram tickets. Good buffet breakfast in the morning (not included in room rate). Roomy, quiet, comfortable, modern room.

Best hotel of the three we stayed at during this trip. Plenty of parking (particularly important in Zurich). Quiet,unobtrusive, but efficient staff. Could use an additional chair in room. Excellent food. Surprisingly moderate price for this type hotel.
