fantastic stay at Lebua

We stayed at the Lebua for 3 nights in May 2012. The hotel honestly deserves the good ratings. The room was more than spacious, clean and cosy. I never slept in a more comfortable bed than in this hotel.
The breakfast offers exceptionally many choices which complicates the decision making process. From fruits (5-6 seasonal fresh fruits), fresh juices, muffins, donuts, pancakes, waffles, different kind of breads, dim sum, egg corner, bacon, sausage, cereals, müsli, sushi, joghurts, and many more... over to typical thai and asiatic breakfast dishes (e.g. fried rice)! Everyone will find something to eat!
We were invited to take a shower after check out in the spa area of the hotel. We enjoyed the possibility to refresh ourselves...
After all: a fantastic view from the bar at the top of the hotel...!!

The hotel has 2 buildings and I was staying the corner wing, so I have to walk to the other building for the spa and swiming pool. Overall, it is a nice hotel and willing to stay same one for my next time in bangkok.

The hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. It's not cheap at all, but if you are willing to spend a few extra bucks for comfort and good service this is the hotel for you.

Firstly many thanks for selling this hotel so cheaply 4 nights in 5* luxury for only £246 - simply fantastic.
This hotel is in an amazing location along side the river, a complimentary boat takes guests to the Skytrain station which is the perfect mode of transport to get around bangkok, beats sitting in several traffic jams.
Our room was spacious with two very comfortable double beds which had good quality bed linen. Slippers and robes were also provided for guest use. The bathroom was also spacious, plenty of hand towels and bath sheets were provided. Floor to ceiling window gave a wonderful view of the river.
One minor issue was no plug socket close to the (full lenght) mirror.
Swimming pool areas offered great service with comfotable beds, fluffy towels and parasols, the only down side was the price of drinks and food a diet cola was jsut under £4, we used the complimentary water provided in the room for which bar staff at the swim up bar were happy to provide us with large glasses of ice.
Free internet is provided on the first floor for one hour per day, if you don't have your own laptop or ipad there are 6 terminals provided by the hotel, this is ideal for keeping in contact with home free of charge.
On check in the receptionist gave us 3 keys - one each and the third one was for keeping in the switch which allowed the air conditioning to stay on so the room was always nice and cool when we returned, this was a big bonus.

Stayed at this hotel several times since it first opened. Property definitely show signs of aging. Lobby smells a hint of sewage, but so does the rest of the city. If you are a fan of extra firm mattresses, you'll love this place. However, that appears to be the norm in Asia. Otherwise this hotel is a gem. Great location next to rail stop. Chic concept and unbeatable value for comfort, style, location, and budget.

I loved this hotel! The ultra contemporary decor makes you feel like you are royalty, and the price was phenomenally reasonable. The staff is very polite. The dining room has an excellent and varied breakfast buffet and a delicious dinner menu, as well. In-room WiFi worked perfectly. The only strange thing was that the bathroom door is a slider that has open slots on each end, so it isn't very private. Also, the location is a bit hard for taxi drivers to find, if they are unfamiliar with the area. I would suggest that the management include specific directions to the hotel on the website. This place is a real bargain. Highly recommended!

What a great experiance we had during our 4 night stay at this hotel. We arrived early and after a short period we were taken to our room which was an up grade. Large room with complimentary fruit and chocolates. The international breakfast more than catered for our needs. Situated in Silom it is a great location for sightseeing, or exploring the city. Happy and always smiling is the best way to describe the staff from the room maids to the management. We had a meal in the Tandoor restaurant after a recomendation and again we had a great meal with excellent service and an abundance of food. I will definately be staing here again when we visit Bangkok.

I was in Bangkok on business and staryed at the Amari Boulevard Hotel. It was a nice hotel with clean rooms in a good location. The only issue that I had was the internet pricing which was high. If I were going to Bangkok again for business I would choose another hotel with free internet service. The cost of this service was equal to 1/3 the cost of the room and while there on business I require internet access every day.

I checked in late (around midnight). The hotel staff got my room very fast and upgraded me to a suite. room is clean. Location was great for finding a late night snack at one of the local restaurants. busy night life in this area. shops are open late and plenty to do.

The hotel is in a great location close to Nana sky train station and road where all the bargains can in found on one street market as well as a chance to see ladies of the night under a bridge during the day. There is a great bar nearby Cheap Charlies and good outdoor restaurants and food cats along the street. The hotel room was not remodeled as others were on diffent floors with flat screen TV. Had to ask for free water, toilet paper, kleenex, etc. Breakfast was excellent across the street and free internet in business center. I would stay there again.

The location was handy to most of the things (i.e. shopping and entertainment) we wanted to see & the staff were friendly. The only downside was our room was located near the cleaning staff storage area - it is a bit difficult when we're trying to sleep in as we can hear the cleaners' conversation or wheeling of their trolleys. There is also not enough space to accommodate everyone in the breakfast area. I have seen people tend to kept bumping (on numerous occasions people have had spilt drinks on people who were seated down) to each other as the space was so tight. Overall, the price and the location was value for money.

We took a vacation with my husband.
The hotel was great but the beds are too small for the double rooms.
The restroom are too small too.
The buffet is too pricy
I do recommend this hotel and recommend it to my friends and family.
The hotel is well know.
"Tawana"is very easy to pronounce and taxi drivers will understand

The hotel location is convenient near by Patpoon but still around 5-10 min walk to Sala Dang BTS.
The room is clean but still old just like the whole hotel in lobby, their restaurant etc. With such hotel room rate I booked, it is still good enough for me to stay.

Internetは有線のため安定していて、速度も速く満足でした。
掃除、アメニティーの補充もしっかりとなされていました。
今回始めての滞在でしたが、一番安い部屋でも十分満足できましたので、次回も利用したいと思います。
ID Check はありますが、ID忘れても自己責任と言えば通してくれましたので、なかなかフレキシブルです。

The night markets are on the doorstep, which is great. Markets aside, forget walking in Bangkok. You need to get the tuk tuks just to cross the streets - all part of the fun that is Bangkok... The Hotel staff are very friendly and professional.

The hotel is very nice, and an excellent value. Only two complaints/warnings: There are a lot of mosquitoes, both in the open-air lobby and restaurant, and in the room; and the airport shuttle IS NOT FREE despite the advertisement. It is "free" if you book the normal package, which costs more (I guess you get breakfast plus the shuttle, but since we were leaving at 5 am we didn't book this option), you get the shuttle included, but if you book the "room only" option, you have to pay extra for the shuttle. Since the shuttle was advertised as free, this seems like bait and switch to me.
That said, we were glad to have stayed there.

Clean and efficient hotel situated in a quiter part of central Bangkok. Short walk (or hotel provide a free Tuk Tuk ride) to the nearby skytrain allowing for quick access to other parts of the City.

I really didnt like where its located granted they do provide ride to the main street but sometimes it isnt around when needed. The pool needs some work but its there and the jacuzzi as well. The staff were nice but I wish they spoke English alittle better. It wasnt a bad hotel but I have been in better.

Royal Asia Lodge provides a nice cozy spot to relax. It is located towards the end of Sukhumvit soi 8. However the hotel, which is located in two separate buildings, has two Tuk-Tuk which will shuttle you to Sukhumvit Road. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast included with the room was satisfactory. Great stay for the Prices....Most of all provides a close and economical but quiet alternative to Soi 4 and 5.
