BEST WESTERN Bangkok Hiptique

My colleague and I had stayed here in September 2012 and were quite pleased with the hotel. Unfortunately, I can't say the same with our most recent stay. We had three rooms and each one of us had a serious issue with our rooms - terrible smell, leaking AC, almost zero water pressure in the shower. After the first night, we asked to be moved to different rooms and were accommodated and the rooms were a bit better, but not what we had remembered from our last visit. In addition, the hotel only has one elevator which was broken at least 3 times during our stay forcing us to carry bags down multiple flights of stairs. finally, at checkout, we requested a taxi to the airport for a specific time. When we came back at that time, they had failed to call the taxi, putting us at risk of missing our flight. It took almost 30 minutes to secure a taxi that was big enough for all of our bags. Fortunately, we made it to the airport with enough time to get trough immigration and back home.

Location is great with a just 5 minute walk to Sukhumvit Road and Nana BTS station. The hotel also offers a free Tuk Tuk shuttle service from 8 am till 8 pm. Shopping and vibrant nightlife as well as massage shops and small super market is all right there. The room is very stylish and modern. Free and fast wifi in the room and very quiet as the hotel is located in a side lane with no traffic. The staff at the reception and restaurant is also very friendly and helpful. They also have to pc desktop stations for free use at the lobby + you can also make free prints. One night I brought a girl and unlike other hotels they didn't charge something for that.

Hotel is tucked away on a back street off another back street and is hard to find by taxi drivers and minibus tour companies. Lobby is on 7th floor and there is no representation on ground floor level Room is modern and very clean with large ensuite shower room and toilet. Only 1 window but this is located in the toilet area! Housekeeping was done very late each day Portion size of meals was very small and not value for money. courtesy Tut tut service to main shopping areas. Pool on 7th floor roof terrace is pleasant but small. 2 computers available for guests with no charges for internet.

I always have a good stay at this hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful!

This is an awesome hotel to stay at. The staff treated me like a movie star. The rooms are set up with a cool style and I actually preferred this to a Holiday Inn room that cost over a hundred dollars per night.

Nice hotel, clean and well taken care off. Free transportation available to the nearest subway and sky-train station, very professional staff. The hotel is a bit far from the major streets so you have walk a bit to get there. The internet connection is not really high speed (depending on what it means 'High Speed'). Otherwise pretty good.

Very nice hotel with excellent service. We will be back again.

Die Buchung wurde vom Hotel scheinbar zu spät erhalten, und kein Zimmer war frei. Mein alleine reisende Freundin wurde mitten in der Nacht mit dem Taxi quer durch Bangkok in ein anderes Hotel geschickt. Dieses war zwar ok, aber das "Best" Western hat auch bei der Umbuchung total versagt und nur für eine Nacht gebucht. Am Abend als sie ins Hotel zurückkam, stand ihr Gepäck vor der Türe und sie musste selber ein Hotel suchen.... Das nenn ich doch Gastfreundschaft... NIE mehr in ein "Worst" Western!!!
