The Baiyoke Sky Hotel, rising 88-storeys above Bangkok's skyline, is Thailand's tallest and Bangkok's most scenic hotel. The hotel is strategically located in the largest fashion square of downtown Bangkok, surrounded by various shopping centers and entertainment attractions. Make sure they clean your room

Good location. I like how the room is set up. Helpful staffs. But the room wasn't clean. Refragerator smelled like spoiled fruits. The room smelled bad. We had to wait for 45 minutes to check in for the room to be cleaned even though we checked in after their check in times. Maybe they were in rush to clean the room? Make sure you ask them to clean the room good.

Good view from the revolving platform and very popular

Food choice at breakfast was good. The laundry service was quick but rather expensive. The area was surrounded by interesting markets.

I was disappointed

The hotel positions itself as the most famous hotel in Thailand, perhaps that's why the service, cleanliness and overall atmosphere leaves so much to desire. Too many people, inside and outside, bazaars everywhere, inside and outside, noisy, bad smells, terrible! I couldn't enjoy Bangkok because of this hotel, it spoiled all good impressions of the trip. The view from the window is awesome at night but isn't worth it.

2nd Time round is not a charm

As we returned to the hotel on November 13, I had to pay 2000 bahts. I thought I had paid for two superior rooms which was booked simultaneously. The attendant refused to bulge. On the 2nd night the bathroom flusher got stuck and we wasted over one hour.

reasonable price

it has reasonable price, but nothing much else. no pool, no internet in room, you have to buy it for bt200 per hour and in room there r not much furniture. pretty much crowded; in addition to hotel guests there are lots of visitors r coming to visit observation. because of few elevators you have to wait even to get to your room in high zone. in Bangkok taxi drivers are great cheaters, so you always must ask drivers to turn on taxi meter, which starts from Bh35. otherwise, Bangkok is great place to visit.

Wow

Simply fantastic! Our room had a wonderful balcony over the city... from the tallest skyscratcher of Bangkok. Subway station a few minutes on foot (airport line). Breakfast at a top floor, breathtaking view, tasty with infinite choise of delicious local and international specialities!!!

Fantastic view

The view in the room was fantastic. Although the room were a little dated, it is still clean and comfortable enough. Breakfast was absolutely superb for the spread and the view

Nothing special for the price

Hotel was ok but nothing special for the over inflated prices charged on everything within. I had planned to stay at the same hotel upon my return to Bangkok but opted for a better hotel. I’d give this one a pass and spend the extra dollars on something better Restaurants are ok but when we went for a very expensive buffet dinner they were more focused in closing and clearing it off that providing a an experience. Paid full price for half a dinner.... disappointing Pool area needs some upkeep also. Very poor.

Nice Views

One of the better Hotels in which I stayed while in Thailand. Very central and a great value. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Bangkok as its close to the BTS and airport train.
