Located right on the busiest street of Chinatown in Bangkok and only 10 minute walk away from the main Bangkok railway station Hua Lamphong. This hotel is very good value for money, but if you look for more comfort and style, the Shanghai Mansion hotel across the street (where we also stayed) is a better choice.

This hotel was very basic.Bed,Tv,Bathroom,Wardrobe.It was clean enough but could do with a lick of paint here and there. On our stay we was closing our front door when a small gecko or lizard fell from the ceiling and immediatley under our door into the room wich was abit worrying. Its not the most modern of hotels compared to some of Bangkoks others. China town its self is busy, bustling and full of life. Nice to walk round the streets and get lost in it all. There are some lovely temples and other sight seeing oppurtunities all with in walkin distance of this hotel. One other problem we found was when we wanted to return to our hotel from another part of Bangkok, the taxi's wont bother in the afternoon as the traffic is THAT bad there, but after 6 or 7 pm its ok again.The resteraunt in the hotel is small but very nice food and reasonable cheap. The staff behind the desk our very helpful with any information you may need.

I cannot rate this hotel in comparison of other hotels in Bangkok as I have stayed in only 2 of the so far. This one is well located in Chinatown and in our case conveniently close to the railway station. The hotel service is ok, howerver the rooms would need some refreshing as the wallpapers and the capet have seen better days. But nothing to complain about however.

This hotel has seen better days - a bit shabby, but we thought it was excellent value and had no major problems with facilities or staff. It wasn't dirty, just run down and we don't care if things are a bit worn or dated so long as things work, and they did (shower, air con, TV in rooms, and lift to upper floors all fine). The breakfast that was included was fine too. Location is safe and right in the heart of China Town and we loved it. Great authentic cuisine and local culture (warts and all) right outside the door. About 400 Baht for a taxi from airport (AUD$20?) and temples, shopping and other attractions were much handier so taxi rides were cheap (when you could get an honest driver!). Would recommend this hotel if you want a simple, safe place to sleep while exploring Bangkok. We'd stay there again.

Une bonne détente dans un hôtel propre, ne sentant pas me moisi avec un lit stable et un coin douche fonctionnel, voila ce que l'on pourrait souhaiter après 16 heures de vol. Pas de chance avec l'hôtel Chinatown...... Pour le même prix, avec des prestations supérieures, il est très facile de trouver à Bangkok.

la chambre sentait le moisi..la moquette etait franchement sale.

Très bien situé dans ChinaTown et relativement tranquille pour y dormir tranquillement. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais fini par lasser si vous retez plus de 3 jours. Chambre petite mais propre et fonctionnelle tout à fait en ligne avec ce que l'on demande pour ce niveau de prix.
