Short walk from hotel
I think it's fun to just walk along and see what the night vendors have to offer. I bought a pretty skirt for six dollars.

Holiday Inn Bangkok New Years
Absolutely beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean everywhere wonderful staff in every section of the operation. I had them pick up some dry cleaning items from my room at 1PM and they were back perfectly pressed before 6 that same night. Daily breakfast buffet is included with room and is fantastic, two separate omelet stations with different items espresso and at least a hundred other items. Very quiet rooms.

Very good location. Room was reasonable size and clean. All staff were very polite and helpful. We had a wonderful time. Only issue we have is the cost of the in room internet facility being too pricey. 1 day costs 600 Baht and 1 week costs 2,800 baht plus VAT of 7%. I have stayed at other hotels in Bangkok where a week for internet access only costs 1,000 baht inclusive of 7% VAT. We used 2 weeks of this facility at Holiday Inn where I paid approximately 6,000 Baht inclusive of VAT.

La chambre est plutôt petite mais
La chambre est plutôt petite mais très confortable. La salle de bain est impeccable. Nous y étions pour le nouvel an (1er janvier) et nous avons apprécié que l'hôtel soit situé à quelques mètres des grandes festivités de la ville. Un endroit idéal pour arriver à Bangkok après une longe route en avion. Le service au restaurant était parfois déficient, sinon le personnel est très sympathique et, dans l'ensemble, tout est Ok. La proximité du sky train est aussi un must.
