Majestic Suite Hotel Bangkok

If you want to be right in the thick of it, with Sukhumvit shopping right outside the door, this is perfect. The tub wasn't draining and the staff responded in less than one minute, with a smile. Very responsive. Safe is big and holds a 15" MacBook Pro, always the sign of 'just right' by my book :) Will stay there another day.

The Majestic Suites is a well-run hotel. Everyone working here is very pleasant, although sometimes their English is difficult to comprehend. My only (minor) complaints are that: 1) the air conditioning is turned down so low that I had to turn it off periodically because it was too cold. 2) The TV only receives about 10 channels, with HBO being the only one worth watching. No news channels. The TV picture was kind of fuzzy, despite these being new 30-inch Samsung flat screen TVs. They need some fine-tuning. The beds are nice and firm. Pillows are good. The towels and amenities provided are very good. The free WiFi connectivity worked well for me. The shower was hot enough and had sufficient flow. There are 2 or 3 layers of glass as well as sliding wooden panels inside to block out most street noise and light. This is great when you consider that the hotel is next to the elevated train tracks, which provide good access to other parts of the city. This neighborhood offers a good variety of things to do within easy walking distance, some good restaurants and wild night life for those who are into that sort of thing. It feels very safe to me. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, which were high based on reviews I had read. 4.5 stars based on value received.

Small but comfortable rooms in a great location to take in nights in Nana. Great price and excellent service. I very much enjoyed the stay here. The amenities are limited, but use of the facilities at the main Majestic hotel more than covers this.

I have stayed here before and I now wonder why I don't stay here every trip! The staff are first class, the cleanliness is first class, the location is perfect as it is right next to the (BTS) Skytrain. Breakfast is included in the price and there is security all through a 24 hour period. The door staff almost break their neck to open the door for you on leaving and arriving. The porters sought out a Taxi for me when I left and I can't wait to go back again in October. All in all the price is (and I shouldn't say this) well below what a lot of other comparative hotels charge and I have stayed in most of the hotels in Sukhumvit over the years. Keep doing what you are doing and people will come back. BP. !
