I remember staying at Narai a few years ago and had a pleasant experiance. But this time I was given a room on the 5th floor which is completely out dated. I felt I need to wear slippers to keep my feet from getting dirty. The 3rd night I check into a room on the 8th floor and it was decent. So I suggest you request a room on a higher level that is a lot more modern and clean feeling.

Short drive from hotel
Go to Paragon Siam. If you like boutique style shopping, go across from this shopping mall and there are alleys with really cool shopping and dining. Especailly for ladies clothes and shoes. And when you get tired get a massage tight there! Amazing

This hotel needs a overhaul. It's
This hotel needs a overhaul. It's a hotel that is only living on busses full of very average tourists dropped down for some nights. You can hear everything thats happens in other rooms. The breakfast is absolutely below standard (old bread during 4 days, same horrible stuff every day). Bad service and personnel that can only play their pre-programmed CD (even the duty manager). It was impossible to get a second key. The price is absolutely too high for what you get. The (before excellent) Italian restaurant changed his beautiful menu into a "card" suitable for a fast food hut. Why does the management change a very famous and succesful restaurant into a second class fast food ?? The management should be changed !!!!!!!!

When I book a hotel in Bangkok
When I book a hotel in Bangkok there is one criteria which can't be avoided. It should be just a walking distance from the nigh life hot spots but not effected by the noise and hustle coming out form there. Narai is just in the right place. Another thing that I love about this hotel is breakfast selections which is really great. As for the rooms, they are just OK, a little bit outdated but clean and comfortable enough, with safe-box and free wifi-Interent. Recommend this hotel for 2-3 days city break.

I have stayed here a number of times and never been disappointed. The location is excellent and the facilites very good. If you can get a deal that includes the breakfast it's well worth it. I'm pleased to see there are now tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück,
Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, sogar mit dunkem Brot - erstmals in Asien in einem Mittelklassehotel! Das Doppelbett (Superior) ist sehr groß, wirklich empfehlenswertes Hotel!
