not a 4 star hotel

I'm not sure where they get their 4 stars, but I would suggest that 2 stars would be more appropriate. The major problem was a ramshackle room that was due for a remodel at least 10 years ago. The grout around the tub has turned black!

This hotel is well located in

This hotel is well located in a quiet soi (lane) a short walk away from Silom Road, Patong night markets etc. The rooms are nicely decorated, quiet and cool since the windows are double glazed (not that common in Bangkok yet). There is a small swimming pool and gym, however the pool has only enough chairs for 2-3 guests -a bit disappointing. In the off-season the rates are good, but I don't think at peak season rates (Christmas-early new year) the hotel is such good value.
