The Centric Ratchada Bangkok

Hotel was clean but it is definitely not a 4 star. 2 at best. Rooms are nice but right outside the entrance there are dirty roads, kinda looks like an outdoors market, and taxi drivers can't find it. (notice that there are no shots of the outside). Hotel people are nice though. The only problem is the location, ugly.

Good location, City area. 10 mins walk to Airport link 5 mins walk to MTR (underground) & Fortune mall

This hotel was off the beaten path. Cab drivers didn't know how to get there, and it was sketchy to walk from the hotel to the MTR even though it was close. When I arrived by cab there was a man peeing outside on the street, to greet me (great neighborhood). The staff at the hotel did not speak English and even once you got your point across of what you needed they were unresponsive (getting a taxi, helping with directions). The rooms reminded me of a converted warehouse with basic furniture. While this was an inexpensive hotel, throughout my 11 day trip, I stayed at other similarly priced hotels that were much nicer. In addition, there was a large arguement with yelling in my hallway that the hotel did nothing about. My room also looked out on to a parking garage. Steer clear of this one.

The price was good but the hotel was about a 2 star. Brand new furniture but ugly rooms. The pictures make the place look wonderful. The location isn't great. They advertise the skytrain which isn't even open yet. Don't be fooled!!!

Great Food!

The place itself is clean, everything looks new and there's a nice TV+DVD in the room. The immediate location is somewhat unpleasant, as the place is distant from the main business center of Bangkok, but it's also 2 min walk from the subway, which can take you anyplace quickly and cheap. The included breakfast also wasn't bad at all! I wouldn't recommend this place as a spot for vacation, since it's filled with mainly japanese business-men and golf goers, and also lacks any resort facilities, but if you happen to have a few days in bangkok then it should give you a real value-for-money.

The hotel is worth the money but the downsides are the relative remoteness from the downtown (you have to take the subway for about 5 stations to get to Bangkok main attarctions) and problems with some staff speaking English. Very good breakfast and definetely the best value for the money!

What can I say, the hotel served its purpose. I was in and out and just used it for sleeping.

Nous avons passé deux jours et nous avons été très agreablement surpris par le professionnalisme du personnel et le rapport qualite/prix pour un hôtel à ce prix là. À recommander.

２階フロアーですと団体客のバスが到着した際の騒音が気になりました。 また、路上からの目線も若干気になるので、泊まるなら３階以上をお勧めします。 部屋自体は清潔で、思ったより広かったです。
