A nice hotel that is reasonably
A nice hotel that is reasonably priced and located a short walk from the sky train. Staff were very helpful and friendly. On the downside of things, I thought that the airconditioning could not keep pace with the heat and the room was quite warm during the hot nights. Breakfast was cold most mornings and some items had run out and staff just did not seem to notice. Overall, a nice hotel, but there are better value hotels in Bangkok.

location is good but some of staff
location is good but some of staff are not friendly, too busy playing game with computer, there is no lift in the hotel so it's hard for older people like us to stay on the level 3, we asked for lower level but didn't get it

really nice accomodation
one of the best accomodation in bangkok. not really closed to skytrain but you can get a moto-taxi for 20bath they bring there. I booked with 50% discount on the web, so it was really good stay... They usually sale standard room from £50

Great Little Place!
Stayed at this cozy hotel for 4 nights. Traveling around Thailand for a month and staying again before departing the country! It is truly a quaint hotel! Not a lot of extras but the staff is so helpful and wonderful! Rooms are very clean and they do their best to make sure you’re comfortable. The location is very safe and great, easy access to the rail, taxis, and a variety of good restaurants. The price is just right! If you’re looking for a place to sleep, in comfort, without all the hype and fuss then this is it! Will stay here again! Loved it!

Short walk from hotel
Silom Bodyworks is the best place for a GREAT massage! Sampled many of the massage places and none compare to Silom Bodyworks. It’s two blocks from the hotel, reasonably prices, very clean, professional, and tastefully decorated. They have a website! Check it out! Enjoy!

The Newts
I liked it. It has character.
We had a late flight and didn't check in until about midnight. That night my knee jerk reaction was to go and check into the Hilton instead but I'm really glad that we didn't. This hotel really grew on me in the next few days. The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were really helpful, and I loved the location. Be prepared for the room being a little quaint though. Silom village is right across the street and so if you are tired at night you can just go across there for dinner and shops. Also, the Maha Uma Devi Temple is about a block away. I would definitely stay here again. Telling your driver Silom Village is helpful as well since they will be more likely to know where that is as opposed to saying The Heritage Baan Silom.

Go to the amulet market first thing and buy a noticable amulet to wear while you are visiting. I know it sounds strange but all of the hustlers (ie tuk tuk drivers, market sellers, etc.) left me alone and would just compliment my amulet after I got it. My husband didn't get one and got hassled non stop whenever we seperated.

Nice Cozy hotel in Bangkok
Location was good. Close to the sky train station. Walking distance. 5-8 min walk. Overall recommended for the price.

Nice hotel, nice staff, clean.
Nice hotel, nice staff, clean. Only thing is we used their concierge to book a trip to Koh Chang only to discover later that they charged us 500 to 600 baht more than other places, almost $20 more. I feel like I was totally taken advantage of and likely won't go back because of it.
