Functional and clean modern room,

Functional and clean modern room, bathroom adequate if simple. Good location and nice staff. Great for a short stopover when you don't need the full facilities of a 4 star hotel (pool etc). Reasonable rate and good free wifi.

Quite a convenient hotel in downtown

Quite a convenient hotel in downtown BKK but same as all others IBIS hotel that you need your curtain down at all time for your privacy.

Clean room with friendly staffs.

Clean room with friendly staffs. Several TV programs - international. The shower was a bit small, cold water flow was slow. Parking area monitored by security guard. Key card was a bit hard to understand and use. 2 bottles of complementary water given.

It's a nice hotel located at the

It's a nice hotel located at the center of Bangkok. Every thing is valued for money except there is no swimming pool at the hotel. If there were 1, that would be ferpect.

Overpriced and unfriendly

The hotel has all the charm of a hospital- totally sterile and unfriendly. They advertise "shuttle service" to and from the airport then charge you almost DOUBLE what a regular taxi would. They charge for internet too- and the connection is spotty. There are many nicer, more charming and less expensive hotel in this neighborhood.

Of all the Ibis hotels we've stayed

Of all the Ibis hotels we've stayed in (Brisbane, Melbourne & Paris), this is by far the tiniest. Don't dream of bringing any 3rd person along as there's no space for an extra bed at all! However, having said that, it is also the cleanest. The room and bathroom were tiny but compact with all the basic amenities provided. A shuttle takes us to the nearest MRT and/or BTS but we have to take either a tuk-tuk or taxi back. Or walk it - It's only a 10-minute walk from Lumpini station. At less than 1,500 baht from Agoda, it was certainly good value.

IBIS BANGKOK

VERY GOOD LOCATION, CLEAN, VERY NICE STAFF, PRICE VERY AFFORDABLE...BUT BREAKFEAST AND DINNER IS EXPENSIVE. I DON'T CARE ABOUT LUNCH.
