I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW INEXPENSIVE IT WAS FOR WHAT IT IS.COULD DO WITH TEA/COFFE MAKING FACILITIES THO'!!!IT'S AROUND 15 MINS WALKING DISTANCE TO OWN,IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIMER IN CHIANG MAI THEN IT MAY BE DIFFICULT AT FIRST BUT ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT,THEN ITS PRETTY GOOD.FREE WIFI IN THE ROOM,WHICH WAS ALIFESAVER FOR ME,BUT I THOUGHT BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED IN MY DEAL,APPERANTLY IT WAS NOT...VERY CLEAN,PERFECT HOSUEKEEPING,2 BOTTLES OF DRINKING WATER A DAY INCLUDED,WHICH AGAIN IS HANDY FOR BRUSHING TEETH OR FOR EMERGENCIES...STAFF COULDN'T SPEAK MUCH ENGLISH BUT WE MANAGED IN THE END.SISTER HOTEL NEXT DOOR HAS A POOL WHICH YOU CAN USE AND THE FOOD THERE IS AMAZING,I HAD SHRIMPS....I WOULD OVER ALL DEFINETELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR THE PRICE AND WHAT YOU GET FOR IT BUT ITS NOT THAT CLOSE TO THE CENTRE AS NOT MUCH PAVEMENTS OUT THERE,BUT I DID WALK EVERYDAY,GOOD EXERCISE)))

WEEKEND MARKETS ARE CHEAPER THAN THE NIGHT BAZAAR.DON'T SEND ALL YOUR MONEY ON GIFTS ON THE FIRST DAY WAIT FOR THE MARKET AND BARTER....IT'S ALL VERY CHEAP AND BEAUTIFUL...AND GET LOTS OF FRUIT SHAKES...DELICIOUS.....

Just loved the setup with the huts and what a wonderful pool. Ever so relaxing, but five minutes moto scooter ride to the town where there are endless options for restaurants. My only complaint is the breakfast wasnt very good. It was a cooked breakfast which is always a plus.

Hi, recently stayed at Royal Panerei, Chiang Mai. 100% value for money. Marvellous service, extremely clean and incredibly cheap. Not huge on facilities, eg. jug for making tea and coffee, but otherwise excellent accomodation.

Too far outside the walls to be a 'central' hotel, but without the charm of a suburban location. Have to take a minibus transfer for breakfast. General lack of information about hotel facilities. Charge for Internet in room is ridiculusly high. Staff tend to ignore rather than to help: I got the strong impression they would prefer not to have overseas guests.

Might not be the place to go
Might not be the place to go for first time Chiang Mai tourists cause of its location, but if you know Chiang Mai well, this is very good value. Clean, quiet, cheap, good large rooms, convenient to cheap local Thai eateries in Sriproom part of Chiang Mai.

★４年連続で３０～３７日間のＬｏｎｇ・ＳｔａｙをこのＨｏｔｅｌにて滞在しており Ｓｔａｆｆともすっかり顔馴染みとなり、Friendlyな対応に大変満足をして おります。前回のアンケート（他社）で朝食のMenuが余りにも少なくなり、 残念、と答えましたがパネライでのMenuは全く同様。ですが、今回Peninsula Hotelにての朝食期間が大半でしたので満足しております。徒歩数分の距離 ですので苦にはならず散歩気分で通いました。勿論送迎有りですが私達は断りました。とに角Staff全員が大変に温 いので、ここを何時も選択しており、又 １１月にStayする約束をしてCheck・Out致しました。★
