Designed to create the feeling of a tropical tribal resort, the Chaba Cabana Beach Resort's colourful design brings it to life in its secluded serene surroundings. The resort is located on the peaceful northern stretch of Chaweng Beach, yet still just a few minutes walk from several shops and restaurants. The resort has comfortable and well furnished accommodation units that are equipped with contemporary amenities. Compulsory New Year Eve Gala Dinner on 31 December 2012 THB 6,000.-net/person include in the room rate. Extra bed for child 3-11 years old free of charge and breakfast will charge THB 300/child pay direct at the hotel.

Cabana getaway

Cabana is well located, close to the main drag in Ko Samui. The hotel is situated right on the beach. Unfortunately when the tide is in, there is no beach and those keen on getting a sun tan are confined to the pool area. The restaurant at the resort is very expensive and guests tend to dine out at more reasonably priced places further along the beach. Staff at the resort, especially at reception lack warmth and are not particularly well trained. Rooms are spacious, TV package is poor, TV reception is not good. Breakfast is good. Pool area is spacious and comfortable. Getting a dry beach towel is problematic.

Nice Place

We only stayed here for one night on our way to Koh Tao, but the staff was friendly, the beach and pool were wonderful, the food was good, the bed was comfy, the room was cute and clean, and the whole place felt cozy and home-like. We wish it had wifi, but only because we happened to have needed it. Most will want to chill at the beach, so no worries. We would most certainly stay again if ever back on Koh Samui!

Fantastic private getaway

My second trip to the hotel after eight years, same personal good services, exclusive location slightly away from central chaweng crowd. Very good private beach pool for relaxation and getting sun without hassle.

Try out all the hotel beach restaurants with really great BBQ seafood and drinks.
