Overall, the hotel staff was very friendly and courteous but the amenities left much to be desired. Room layout was rather flashy in design, with opaque glass shower and double-sized bath. However the room construction was of shoddy quality. On inspection some of the bathroom tiles had fallen off, revealing the brick and mortar beneath. Hotel also lacked the availability of in-room internet. The location of hotel vista far enough from walking street that you will want to hop a baht-bus for a 5-10 minute commute. The upside is that the area is relatively quiet.

Over rated hotel
Glad I booked this at a reduced rate, there is no way this is 4 star rated hotel. The room was clean and modern but the rest was very basic. Beakfast was always cold with an Asian bais, the swimming pool was small with a limited number of sun beds. This hotel is more like an airport hotel than a resort hotel. To sum up, don't pay the full price to stay here you can get a much better deal locally. With a 50% discount its a fair deal.

This place is a long way from
This place is a long way from Walking street although it is easy to get transport from the beach end of town. At the other end of the road is Big C which is the main shopping centre which is great. The coaches in the laneway are constant but with the verandah doors closed you could not hear or smell them.

Very nice hotel. But all in all
Very nice hotel. But all in all I will never come back again. Both my friend and me experienced that they did not pay back our deposit of 1.000 bath. First when we contacted other persons at the front desk he would give refund. This seams like steeling money from guests, and should never happend.

Our balcony was directly facing
Our balcony was directly facing room of another resort so would suggest to put some plants in order to partially block this unsightly view. There were also too many levels to encounter in the bathroom. Apart from this, the hotel provides good accommodation and great buffet breakfast!

Nice pool, breakfast and internet speed. No aircon in otherwise vn fitness. Close to shopping/beach. Very modern boutique rooms.

Had an excellent stay at the Vista
Had an excellent stay at the Vista Hotel. I sent out an email to the hotel to inform about my arrival and requested to have a worry free(girl friendly!) stay and they accomodated me well for that. Everything was new and clean and the surroundings were very very quiet. Short walk to 2nd Rd and Beach Rd. Will stay there again if the budget permits <1600baht.
