The Banthai Beach Resort is perfectly situated along Patong Beach. The staff are very friendly and will work to make sure your stay is perfect. The restaurant's breakfast is good and has a wide variety of food to satisfy you regardless of what your "perfect" breakfast is. The hotel's property feels safe and comfortable. The pools are nice and the drinks at the hotel's bar are reasonably priced. Overall the hotel is a solid choice and I would definitely stay there again.

A fantastic place with beautiful rooms. We booked the suite with has a sweeping view of the sea. And a jaccuzi on the balcony!! A fair ride from the centre of Phuket, but it was worth being far from town if you just want to relax and enjoy some R&R. We rented a scooter and rode to phuket whenever we want and it was a good easy 30 mins ride. A great hotel with great charm. Highly recommend it. ANd will definitely stay there again and again.

My wife and I put up at Cape Panwa Hotel between the 15th till the 18th of March. Coming from Singapore we of course expected good service and facilities from Cape Panwa - a reputable hotel, and we were not disappointed.
All Staff were friendly and courteous, at all times.
The private beach was excellent for swimming and was clean.
The breakfast menu was good and we enjoyed the variety of local fruits and the international menu with varities of breads and pasteries, that were made available. Little disappointed that it did not have Halal -Muslim dishes.
Although Cape Panwa is a little inaccessible the transportation facilities provided by the hotel was wonderful.
We felt safe and comfortable talking their airconditioned vans/buses to and fro - from the Airport, to Phuket town and even to patong.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful holiday.

BEST VALUE FOR MONEY, GREAT POOL

I stayed for 20 days at this hotel and i enjoyed every minute of it. It's one of those places which offers everything you need and a little bit more, plus the staff are very friendly and helpful. Maraming salamat sa 'yo. At the same time though it doesn't have this stiff hotel atmosphere you sometimes find in the nicer places. It's a homely place.
The room was comfy, very clean and big enough to laze around. Also the beds were excellent. The bathroom was a bit on the small size with the typical asian toilet/shower combination. But that wasn't really a bother.
Then of course there is the pool. Basically you step out of the room and into the pool, plus it's actually big enough to swim some laps. It's the centerpiece of the hotel and a great meeting place.
The breakfast buffet was big enough and offered everything you would expect. They serve it until 10.30 AM. Maybe a bit too early for some partygoers.
I've been travelling extensively and all over the world and i can honestly say that this hotel offered the best value for money. I have to say though that i visited in the offseason, so i can't say what the prices will be like in the highseason.
All in all i recommend this hotel to all the travellers who look for a certain standard including a warm welcome by the staff and with a great pool for a bargain price.
By the way, whenever you want to book a hotelroom in the Phuketarea (probably all over Thailand) use one of the booking websites. Walk in rates are almost always considerably higher than internet rates

Very nice hotel especially good value for money. No safe in the room but reception has a safe deposit box. Great pools, friendly staff and the breakfast was quite good. Good location too.

The Hotel was the perfect distance from the beach and Kata center. (Both can be loud and crouded) The hill was a bit of exercise but definetly worth the climb to be a bit secluded. Hotel and staff were great and would stay there again.

We had a great time at this hotel and we happy that we splurged on the room with patio that led you right into the pool. Rooftop bar was a great place to have a drink and watch the sunset as well.
It should be noted that this hotel, although new and very nice, is located just off Bangla Road (the craziest, most agressive, go-go bar, lady boy street in Phuket). If you are in your room with the door closed, you can't hear almost anything. However, once you step out, you can definitely hear the thumping bass and music from the very close by bars/clubs. It's not bad, just be warned that if you are looking to sit by a very quite and relaxing pool, this isn't it.

I picked this hotel after reading lots of good reviews about it. We stayed in a deluxe pool access room which was nice and modern and the jacuzzi in the pool by our room was a pleasant surprise. The pool bar was lively with hip hop music all day and staff were cheerful. The view from the rooftop restaurant was breathtaking. However, the food and drinks from both bars were quite expensive. The small restaurants next to the hotel offered better value. Breakfast was good enough, but was almost the same everyday. I was surprised to find that the beach was miles away from the hotel. All the reviews I read seemed to suggest the hotel was very close to the beach. It was a good 5 minutes' walk under the hot sun. When we asked for exchange to Thai Bahts, the reception staff told us the hotel did not do it and said hotel exchanges rates would be expensive anyway, and so we should go somewhere on the main streets, and that it's not too far to walk, blah blah blah! It was after 11 pm at night and we really did not fancy the walk, but we needed the cash to pay for the sun lounges the next morning before the exchange booths on the streets were open at 11 a.m. When we asked for ice for the room, they said that would cost Bht.50! When we asked for taxi to the airport, they pointed us to the taxi counter next to the reception desk, which quoted a price that was over 40% higher than taxis on the streets. Overall, it was a pleasant but I am unlikely to go back simply because the beach is too far away.

The hotel are located right next Karon Beach in Karon Bay, guest have to across the small road to the beach, Karon is one of the most beautiful beach on Phuket, the white sandy beach where people can enjoy the view and beach activities. Guest can enjoy Patong night life where Patong entertainment is not far at all from the hotel only 15 minutes away by car.

The beach is beautiful and so was the resort. Plenty of room for laying by the pool or the beach. Staff are very friendly and the food was good.

really good hotel, very clean and nice staff (although they didnt have the best english skills, not that it really matters). in a great spot in patong, just outside all the hustle and bustle but still very close (we walked everywhere). would stay again, except we left early to head to kata beach for some relaxation as patong was too hectic after 4 nights!

Very amazing grounds, in a week I never saw it all. Close to beach, lots of activities, very cool pool bar. Only real drawback is the 1000 Baht fee to bring in a guest, which other hotels don't have.

LowSeasonだっただけに波は荒く離島にもいけませんでしたが、ホテルのホスピタリティ、サービスの良さは◎でした。朝晩は激しいスコールにあいました。ホテルの朝食は大体700TBHでしたがDUSIT THANI CLUBだったので子供も含めて無料で頂くことができました。Afternoon TeaはPre-Cocktailもありアジアの優雅な雰囲気を満喫しながら贅沢な時間を過ごすことができました。次回もまた行きたいです。
