Amber Suites Istanbul opened in Jan. 2011 and is conveniently located in the heart of the historic old city of Istanbul. Amber Suites Istanbul is located in Sultanahmet / Kumkapi ( Old City Istanbul ).
Each of rooms has a private bathroom and all rooms have been recently refurbished. In addition to updated furnishings and decor, the rooms include plasma television, direct dial telephone,air-conditioning, central heating, minibar etc.. The hotel also provides amenities as dry cleaning, library, lobby, reception and smoke-free hotel.

Generally worth it for a short stay
This hotel is very well situated for visiting the main sites of historical, architectural and cultural interest. The staff are friendly and helpful but the amenities are basic. The location is in a working area but this is a plus for anyone who wants a "real" experience of Turkish life.
