Mixed feelings
Cons: The shower did not work correctly, which had very low water pressure and they did not fix it or move us. The floor we were on was supposed to be non-smoking but the people across the hall was smoking so much that it clouded the hallway and the smell was in our room. When I informed the hotel, they said they would address it and did absolutely noting. I must have called the front desk 5 times and still they did not address the issue. On top of all of that, all the rooms we rented, none of them had air conditioning and only heat would come out when we tried to put the AC on. We tried to sleep with the window open where you can hear everything going on in the streets. The pillows they use were also very uncomfortable! Plus, we placed the towels on the floor for change and they placed the same towels back on the rack as if they were new. We knew they were the same because of a stain that was on them. Pros: They were nice.

Best Western Eresin Taxim
This hotel is located in an excellent area of Istanbul for sightseing and the ease of transportation. I had heard many things about Hotels in Instanbul that wasn't favorable, but the Eresin lives up to it's reputation. It was very clean and the staff was helpful.

It's a 5 minute to Taxim Square and the Metro. Anything you want you can get there.

Hotel in great location
The service was excellent. The metro was only a 5 minute walk. There was a lot of restaurant options near the hotel. The only negative thing was the the pillows and bed were not that comfortable.

Very good hotel
This hotel is located in the heart of Taksim, close to metro and airport shuttle busses. My room was clean and comfortable, with everything I need during my short stay. Hotel personnel was friendly and responsive. Breakfast was good too. I would stay there next time I visit Istanbul.

The hotel amenities listed on the web site include airport shuttle. This does not exist but when asked the hotel personnel offered to obtain a shuttle to the airport. This was at a considerately higher cost than what my wife obtain through the taxi that took her from the airport to the hotel. We will not use this hotel for future stays in Istanbul.

Centrally located, very good access
Centrally located, very good access to public transport especially to and fro the airport. Bathrooms are a bit small and sparely equipped. Friendly and helpful personnel. Not a bad choice overall.

Pros: location, check-in, check-out, cleanliness. Cons: Wi-fi for a charge of E$15 as compared to other hotels in the area for free. Small rooms, even though we had a double room.
