Sensible budget hotel
The Yumokoglu is quite central and the welcome reasonably warm. Rooms were very clean, towels changed every day and (in my experience) bedlinen changed twice in a 3-night stay. Buffet breakfast was OK (though don't arrive just before 10.30, most food will have been cleared away). Receptionists spoke English. Downside: the hotel seemed startled by a request to print out a boarding pass, which pretty well every hotel does these days. In the end, I checked in on the hotel reception computer but it couldn't print pdf, so no boarding pass. Generally, to be recommended as an honest and clean 3* hotel.

The Izmir metro is clean and efficient and cheap -- buy a card for 3 or 5 journeys at most big stations. Sometimes, the main roads get very clogged, so the metro is a good bet for getting around -- especially to the airport.

I was stayed at the hotel June 11'- the weather was warm but not as hot as a usual summer in Izmir-. the air conditioning was not working. Other than that the hotel was well located and very reasonably priced. The front desk was very helpful-and arranged a last minute tour of Ephesus. Breakfast was decent-I would stay again just make sure AC working in hotel.

We had a nice stay here, & it was easy to book rooms for a group at reasonable prices. At about 60TL/person/night, it was pretty convenient & not that much of a difference in prices from the hostels & pensyons we were looking at. It was also super easy to find because it's so close to the Hilton. The only negative was that even though the staff 'spoke English'...sometimes it was really hard to communicate with them (understand/be understood).

As mentioned in reviews, the hotel has no functioning air conditioning system....the hotel has only a heater. Fortunately, we were there during the winter season and was not a cause of discomfort for us. What I like about it is the location, the friendly staff and the Mediterranean breakfast buffet. I will book this hotel once more but not during the summer season.

Good Location
Hotel is located at very busy center of the city. Within walking distance to Kordon, Fuar and shopping around. Parking lot is available next door, free of charge. Staff was very friendly, however a/c was not cooling, which made the stay uncomfortable.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in einer kleinen Seitenstraße etwa 7 bis 10 Minuten vom Hafenanleger Passaport entfernt. Natürlich ist Izmir laut und Straßenverkehr ist in den Zimmern leicht zu hören. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist etwas antik; allerdings muss man bei allem das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Blick haben. Bad und Zimmer sind sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich. Das Personal zeigt sich stets freundlich. Ich würde das Hotel bei einem weiteren Besuch der Stadt wieder wählen.

必用最低限の設備ですが、必要十分にして、この価格であれば十分満足のいく内容でした。 バスルームは石鹸とバスタオル、小タオルのみでしたが、バスタブもあり、また猛暑の中、午前中からチェックインでき、部屋に入るとクーラーがきいていて、 ホテルライフを楽しむのではなく、泊まることに重点をおくのであれば、その価格からしてお勧めです。 朝食は、ガラス張りになっていて、道行く人を眺めながら楽しめます。
