Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi

Premier room is a generous size, lovely furnishing and excellent fittings. Dinner and Breakfast Buffets are impressive, great selection and oh so scrummie. Now we know why they had Bathroom scales in the Room! Good onsite facilities for children (playground, 3 x childrens pools, beach) we used the quieter pools near the apartments. Would most definately stay again.

This was a fantastic hotel with wonderful restaurants and lovely friendly staff who treated their guests like Kings & Queens. Nothing was too much trouble-we arrived at 9.30 a.m. (check in time not until 1 p.m) and no problem at all. We were given late check out (3 p.m.) and used the hotel facilities until 7.30 p.m. when our pick up arrived, including being provided with fresh towels & toiletries to use. The shuttle service provided transport to all of the areas in the city we could ask for. A marvellous experience.

The service is excellent and reception ensured I was happy with my room, which I appreciated immensely. Fortunately, upgraded to a Premium Suite upon arrival and the room was beautiful. Comfortable bed! Shuttle bus is very hand, as the city is approx. 25/30mins away.

This is an amazing hotel! Although only made affordable by the fantastic discount provided by [website]. What an amazing stay - we will definitely be going back!

We stayed with our young daughter and the staff were fantastic, the room was amazing. We had a lovely stay we are lookin forward to oiur stopover on the wat back to Australia.

We were impressed with the hotel from the minute we checked in. We were upgraded to a suite and the service was impeccable. I couldn't fault the facilities in the suite and the location is fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Shangri La very much. Within a few minutes of arrival I had already excitedly photographed my luxurious room and emailed the photos to friends exclaiming "I think I want to stay here forever!". The next few days confirmed my pleasure at the quality of the hotel, in facilities, decor, and service. The rooms are beautifully appointed with attractive views. There is a lovely little private boat that will take you on the internal waterways to the nearby souk and to the spa. The breakfast buffet was impressive, and the service from staff in every area was impeccable. I unfortunately had a bit of a traumatic incident in the city, and approached the concierge for assistance in reporting it. The concierge and duty manager bent over backwards to assist me, and were respectful and supportive, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel, and very much hope to visit again.

We arrived at 7am and were delighted to find that a room was immediately available. The room was spacious and luxurious. The staff at the hotel were all excellent; this is a hotel of the highest standard. The private beach was not particularly good, as it fronts onto a narrow channel of water rather than the ocean. The swimming pools were heated to 29 degrees celsius, so it was always pleasant. We would have 2 complaints. The 1st is that the restaurants are expensive. They are of very good quality, but a meal for 2 people was in the region of $180. Wine in particular is very expensive, so if you can do without, you will save a fortune. There are other restaurants in the souk nearby, which are similarly priced. The 2nd complaint is that our room was in a wing of the hotel that was close to the nightclub, which on occasions prevented us from sleeping. The location of the hotel is around 15 minutes from the airport, and about the same from Abu Dhabi itself.
