my only problem was that I was offered a free transportation from the airport to the Hotel, but when I called them to pick me up at the airport, they informed me that a pick up was not included in the room reservation..That was a big surprise and disappointment for I had made sure abiut it before I made the reservation. It cost me 425 extra dollars to hire a cab,and I was sick too .

Disappointed
Hotel was beautiful . New clean and modern. Only disappointing thing, we left our camera in the room. We rang from airport and housekeeping said they couldn't find it. Now it's a cannon 600 slr in a blue padded bag sitting on the desk. You couldn't miss it. We couldn't go back due to flight schedule. We have since phoned from Australia 3 times and offered rewards etc but no luck yet. It as 4000 photos on it from our 7 week holiday at Olympics , France and Italy and is very precious to us. I hope someone finds it

Just a great little hotel !
We had a very good time at the Yas Island Rotana. We always do, mainly because of the helpful and EXTREMELY curdious staff! Any problem, if I ever have one, is taken care of quickly and efficiently! GREAT staff here! Couldn't ask for more from the staff at all!

Lovely new hotel with excellent
Lovely new hotel with excellent facilities. The only negative was a number of items were not available on the menu in the otherwise excellent Blue Grill restaurant.

Worthy of 5 star rating
The Yas Island Rotana is an elegant yet down to earth comfortable hotel with all of the amenities one would expect from a 5 star hotel. Some of the spectacular nearby sites include the Marina Circuit race car track and the Ferrari horse racing track. These seem like futuristic movie sets. The location provides easy access to downtown Abu Dhabi and to Dubai, but I would recommend getting a rental car because the hotel is not near shopping or downtown.

Great Experiance
I was in Abu Dhabi for a UFC event and stayed at this hotel. It was clean, looked great on the inside and outside. Everything was brand new. They have a great bar and great buffets as well. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

just wonderful
normally germans like to complain! can't complain this time, sorry. we spend 3 nights at the hotel and we loved everything from food to accomodation. the location is of course not good, but we knew that before and for a short stopover it was just a great place to relax.
