Benidorm meets Dubai
Having recovered from the frenzy that is the lobby at The Atlantis, one is led to bedrooms that resemble a worn out B&B. A shower that smelt of cats wee was only trumped by a toilet that smelt worse than those at my sons secondary school. Never again. You have been warned!

Atalantis. It's Another World
The best hotel resort on the Palm Dubai: Two option of views from your room. Owe first room view was Arabian Gulf and we changed to The Palm view. We loved the Marine & Waterpark, 'Dolphin Bay', 'Aquaventure', 'The Lost Chambers', and the Atlantis Dive Centre. You will have to book for the Dolphin Bay, from 600AED to 1450AED that is same for the Dive Centre. Dining is from all over the World with Michelin Stars to Arabian Gems. But do remember this on a Palm of the Arabian Gulf as you may see on a map. The is no Shopping Mall and you are more depended on the hotel, so those who give 3 mark for this reason do not understand Geography.

It was one of the best experience I had in a resort. The view from the room was spectacular. The beach was clean but the water was a bit cold at this time of the year. The food in the hotel was excelent. The waterpark was a blast. It's the must do!

The Palm Atlantis - a destination itself
We were welcomed from the moment we opened the car door and were continually greeted with smiles and appreciative staff until the moment we left. There was a great selection of restaurants and with the water park, aquarium and dolphin adventures all close at hand we felt really at the right place. All of this great service and amenities come at a price, so be sure you are able to enjoy this level of service. $$$-$$$$$

The water park is right out the back door and with unlimited access you can come and go as much as you want. Keep in mind that the sun is right over head in the summer and you can get sun burned in a hurry.

Wow.... I should finish my review
Wow.... I should finish my review right there. Wow! Amazing place, amazing rooms, amazing restaurants. The buffet lunch is the biggest and best I have seen(including Las Vegas), and catered for everyone This was right at the end of our world trip and after staying in mostly tiny European hotels, we felt like royalty in the Atlantis rooms. The included water park access was great for us too, as we just lazed around and got a tan before heading home. Going to Dubai, stay at Atlantis

Check-in was a mess. we queued
Check-in was a mess. we queued for over half an hour, with people pushing in and general chaos. When we were served, they insisted we had booked 3 rooms and not 2. When we got into some rooms, the twin room we booked had a double bed. We phoned several times to complain from the room, but were every time told to wait for a call back which never came. We went downstairs again and after another lengthy wait and some firmness the rooms were sorted out. No apology was ever given although eventually they agreed to give us a late checkout time the following day which at least was something. The rooms were fine, minibar outrageously expensive even for hotels like this, and 99 dirhams is charged for wireless internet connection. The waterpark was very clean and nicely designed, but totally confusing as to what we had to do in terms of lockers / carrying money and stuff etc. We enjoyed ourselves despite the fact that it was more like having a weekend in a busy shopping mall than in a hotel.
