A good hotel for a quick layover
I recently spent the night at the Crowne Plaza between flights. The check in staff was courteous and efficient, the room was clean, comfortable, and most important, quiet. A short 15 minutes from the Dubai airport this is a good place for a quick layover.

Dubai is HOT!
My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dubai was fantastic. The customer service they provide was nothing short of outstanding. The staff was friendly, kind, and courteous. The hotel offers an American style breakfast, happy hour, and a complete business center. There are several restaurants in the hotel with great food, it is also adjacent to a small indoor mall, and it is has two clubs for night entertainment. The hotel offers a complementary shuttle to the Dubai Intern'l airport, which is about 10 minutes away; what's more, the shuttle, will take you to the Mall of the Emirates and Jumeirah Beach Park. We took taxis everywhere, because the Crowne Plaza is centrally located to all the major sites of Dubai. I strongly recommend the Crowne Plaza and they are overall very professional with an excellent location.
