upon check-in given room w/ lights & fridge not working, 2nd rm. found occupied when opened door, 3rd rm. no towels in bath, dried toothpaste on glass in bathroom buffet food cold, instant coffee, extra $ for OJ w/ breakfast no tours available on fri. reception staff not helpful, forgot to call requested taxi upon departure causing late arrival @ airport

Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a good location, close to the airport, close to shopping and easy to get to the big malls and beaches etc I only stayed for 2 nights, and wouldnt stay here for an extended stay, as I would prefer more luxury, but if youre on a budget, this isnt a bad place to stay... There is a mall directly behind the hotel (Reef Mall) and another small mall around the corner, which makes for good not so busy shopping as well as more food options, as they both have quite a few restaraunts between them. Also, Deira City Centre Mall is about a 10 minute walk away, or a short hop in a cab. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to and from this mall. It is also in walking distance to a main street, which has lots of restaurants and fast food places to eat at. Also about 20 Dirhams in a cab to get to Al Memzar Beach.

Great hotel for its value. Friendly staff, professional, clean and good location. Did not have any issues here and would go again. Especially for that PRICE$$

Very good value for money when I stayed there at USD 55 - but no longer good value, I believe, since the rate has now gone up quite a lot.

Hotel is clean and front desk is very friendly and location is near to airport.

There is nothing particularly WRONG with this hotel, IF you don't mind waking up BEFORE DAWN to the sound of prayr, BLARING from the Mosq across the street. The room was small, but decent enough. Price was reasonable for location, but again, the BLARING speaker at not even 5a.m. from across the street gives this place a 2.5 from me, out of a possible 5. IF you sleep like a ROCK, then it's o.k. for you.

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful, close enough to Gold Souk.

Asked for non smoking with a view and was told the hotel was smoke free. Wrong, was placed on a smoking floor with view of abandoned building. Internet was 10 darhms per hour and didn't work most of the time. Fitness room was a joke, one treadmill that was broken, couple of old stationary bikes and a few free weights. The pool was ok, but the spa was broken. Pool only accessable 0800-1800. Daily room cleaning was a joke, usually didn't leave toilet paper, enough towels or wipe down the tables and desk. Usually didn't come to clean room until late in the afternoon just as you were arriving from being out all day. Noise from traffic, cleaning people and remodeling/repairs. Close to malls, eating estabishments and nigh life. Wont stay there again...........

great rooms for the price, hotel could do with a bar and although the service was good in general,one or two members of staff were a little'slow'.

From the moment we checked in, we were impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. This hotel is a great value for the price. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff helped us book a city tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel has a fairly new Asian cuisine restaurant. The food and price were excellent. We were in Dubai for a long layover during our return trip to the US. We are planning to return to Dubai for a vacation and will certainly stay in this hotel again.
