The Country Club Hotel Dubai

Very confy, rooms are large and well cleaned. Bed was really good too. Staff were friendly and helpfull. The bad part is the inside discotheque that is open until 3 AM!! So if you stay on the 1st or second floor and have difficult to sleep... well you wont be able to! It is also a little far from transportation, but they have taxis always ready at a very fair price and if you dont want to use them it's very easy to get one of the numerous taxis from the city just by walking a short distance. I recomend this hotel for lonely travellers or young couples. Been there in january 2013.

This hotel is a nice place to stay. It has a lot of potiential. The location wasn't that great meaning it was tucked away in a corner next to or near nothing in walking distance. But if you want to just relax, have a good room, nice resturant and pool. This is the place to stay. Good service, nice room, and the pool, spa, and gym is nice and modern. A nice little get away.

From start to finish we were looked after. The room was very good, clean and welcoming. the hotel facilities were very good as was the food in all the outlets. The room was quiet, the players lounge was excellent, and the entertainment was first class, with friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel and would definately stay there again. Most places we wanted to go were 10 dhm with plenty of taxi's available

Overall, the hotel was decent. I was not expecting a lot of frills, but I was able to enjoy my stay. My room was located near a drainage pipe so I could constantly hear water rushing through pipes. The staff is super friendly, however, maybe a bit too friendly, as the bellman called my room while I was napping to ask me out on a date! The free breakfast bar is worth staying. Many hotels in this area do not offer free breakfast, and finding a hypermarket within walking distance is not an option. Compared to previous trips, I must say that this was the least impressive hotel. I booked it on a whim, but again, was impressed by the staff's overwhelming kindness, as well as the safety of the hotel.

This was our sixth trip to Dubai. We have stayed in 3,4 and 5 star hotels. This was the worst one we ever stayed in.The entrance to hotel is actually a dirt track. Taxi drivers on several occasions couldn't even find it. Wireless internet was expensive and didn't work. The worst scenario was on checking out the hotel couldnt even mind my laptop in the baggage room. When I complained to hotel manager he agreed to put it in his office. This hotel in my opinion is a 2.5 star hotel.Never again.

i recommend the hotel for cruise ship or airport very near both and taxi to either is under ten dollars - clean and comfortable with decent gym

Hotel was very nice and the room was very clean. Location is also good but not perfect (it is in the middle of a big street with nothing around and you need a vehicle to go anywhere). Staff was not very helpful. We reserved and paid for a 3 bed-room and the third bed turned out to be a couch (which we called 4 times to have it set up and finally my dad dragged in one of the housekeepers into the room to have it done). Then we were waiting for towels, etc. Some of the receptionists were very unfriendly, the concierge (maybe he was a replacement) did not speak much English and could not answer a simple question, and the permanent concierge/travel agent was very "pushy" in promoting us "her friend" to drive us around to sightseeing for triple the amount it cost us by taking a regular cab.

After reading reviews on this hotel (after booking)I will admit to being slightly worried. Instead I was very surprised at the hotel. Staff during checkin were happy and very helpful, even though I was four hours early they managed to get me into the room. I had booked a deluxe room and the hotel upgraded me to a suite for no extra charge. Noise levels from the clubs were Ok but I was on the top floor. Food was average price for Dubai but large servings and well presented. Location is out of the way but good views of Dubai Dry Dock and all the 24hr activities that go on there. $2 cab ride to the night life in centre of town if you wish so who cares. All in all a very pleasant stay, I would definatly use this hotel again.

Hotel was ok, service was not helpful, food was overpriced. Wouldn't recommend.

Hotel im gesamten sehr sauber und ordentlich. Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Personal sehr freundlich. Lage des Hotels zentral. Mit Taxi alle sehr gut erreichbar.
