I was given very good service by reception, the concierge, cleaning, and dining room staffs. The pool was largee with a good size exercise room. A full service spa was also available in the pool/exercise area. I would stay here again if I ever return to Belfast.

Room good, food terrible

  • Jack
  • 24 May 2011
While in Belfast my wife and I were visiting our son and sightseeing. The room was good, albeit a little small, which I understand is the norm in Europe. If you want access to a computer, you better bring your own, the hotel charges 4 pounds for an hours access. What is even worse, you cannot break it up i.e.; you only use 15 minutes and log out, that is it, you have used your time for the day and unused time is not credited. Finally do not take the breakfast package, the food is horrible and way overpriced. How does $46 sound for 2 breakfast buffets and a cup of tea? Sure it was all you can eat, but 1 time through was enough for my son ( a 20 year old who acn eat like a horse) and I.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located in the city centre near the main public transport hubs. The room was basic - the curtains were in a state of disrepair but the room was clean and the bathroom was clean and adequate.

Fantastic location, helpful staff, free left-luggage service. The nearby bar can be a little noisy as it has loud music. Walls are paper thin. Sink and shower plumbing is really noisy. Some mildew in grout in tub. No soap or shampoo. Decent value for the price.

  • 22 Aug 2011
The hotel is very nice. Clean, modern and a nice place to stay. The hotel staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and offer great views as well as free wireless internet. The only bad thing about my stay was the room was booked without breakfast included. When I went to get breakfast I was shocked to hear that the continental breakfast was 13 pounds. The full breakfast menu is nearly 17 pounds. Other than that little surprise I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Brilliant short stay at the Europa. I'm a regular visitor to Belfast, but my Girlfriend had never been before. I realised I had to make a good choice to introduce her to Belfast, so chose the Europa. Well, she loved the hotel, the city, and the nightlife!! The Europa lived up to all my expectations and we will be back again!
