good for one night stay

We came to Belfast only for one night for the Chilli Festival. We chose the hotel because of its location and because it was the only hotel so close to the city centre which offered free customer parking. Unfortunately it turned out the parking was NOT free!!! This was one of the negatives of our stay. What is more thin walls allowed to hear every noise from the corridor, every shutting door made so much noise it would woke us up. On the positive side it has indeed fantastic, very convenient location, clean rooms, super-fast check-in and check-out. Good for stay for one night.

Perfectly located new hotel

I was in Belfast to do some archival research in local libraries and to relax a bit. This hotel fit my needs perfectly. The rooms are clean and modern. The place is located in the trendy Cathedral district, near the Central Library and many new pubs and restaurants and only a 5-minute walk to City Hall, major local bus lines, and the Linen Hall Library. Victoria Station is a little farther, but it wasn't a hassle to get there, either. The hotel is particularly nice for gay travelers, as it is near all the pubs and clubs. The other neighborhood establishments are all gay friendly, too. Belfast has come a long way, and it is a wonderful city to visit.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The John Hewitt, The Spaniard, Isibeals, the Deer's Head, and the Northern Whig are all good, reasonably priced choices within a 3-minute walk of the hotel. Do be aware that Belfast (except for the gay places) rolls up its sidewalks pretty early in the evening, however. After 8 p.m., I was usually left with going hungry or heading to that fine Scottish restaurant, McDonald's (of Golden Arches fame). It seemed to be the only open eating place in the City Centre.

This modern hotel is a very pleasant

This modern hotel is a very pleasant place to stay if having a weekend break in Belfast. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are very pleasant. I was quite surprised to see a polished wooden floor rather than carpet in the bedroom but it wasn't a problem. (Probably more hygienic!) The bar was extremely noisy on the first night (can't be good for the hearing of the staff if this is a regular occurrence) - fortunately we were just passing through and as we were on the 5th floor we heard nothing there. Breakfast was very nice - the croissants were the best I've tasted outside of France! The hotel is convenient for Belfast city centre - ten minutes walk away and the hotel pays for the parking in the undercover park at the back. All in all it was great value for money.

Vergonzosa desatención. La habitación sin acondicionar después de las 20h. Sin servicio adecuado de camareros en cafeteria. De la limpieza mejor no hablar: reina por su ausencia.
