Supportive Staff

We enjoyed our stay and found the staff very helpful. Our booking company forgot to inform the hotel that we had breakfast included. That was sorted by reception in less than a minute. Also when discussing our travel plans they offered to book the taxi to the airport for us which meant a substatial saving compared to street prices that morning.

Great location

I booked two rooms at this hotel for New Year's Eve 2011/12. I managed to get the fantastic rate of £40 per room, including breakfast, so it was an absolute bargain. If I had paid the rack rate of £290, however, I would have been extremely disappointed. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear what the people in the next room are actually saying (thank goodness it was only my sister). The windows are only single glazed so it could be a little noisy at night, although actually this didn't bother us at all. Room was clean, and although not plush or particularly smart, it was absolutely fine for just sleeping. Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much, very clean and such a good location. Room was spotless (room 1520). Airconditioning was not so good but wasnt a problem. Staff were quite good but not all that welcoming. Would stay there again without a problem.

Clean & comfortable

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly & helpful staff. A real mixture of ages using the hotel during our stay & we heard no disturbance at all from other guests. Music from clubs on Broad Street could be heard (on 14th floor) but it was more of a background beat and did not keep us awake. Great location for NIA, Symphony Hall, shopping & entertainment areas. Onsite car parking charges a little steep @ £13/day. Good selection of continental breakfast buffet items available, especially fruits. Hot English Breakfast offerings were "average". Our room was spacious, well cleaned/maintained & beds were comfortable. Hotel bar open until 2am for a quieter (than Broad Street) nightcap. Late night security guards at the entrance. Will certainly return (if the price is right!!)

Good business hotel, great location

Good business hotel, great location in the heart of the city. Rated three star, and well up to this level at least. Good breakfast, free newspapers, pleasant service. Hard to fault it, except perhaps the cost of parking (£13 overnight), but it is next door and very convenient.

We stayed at the Jurys Inn on

We stayed at the Jurys Inn on new years eve. The location was excellent right on broad street. The room we were given was a really good size and the hotel even arranged late check out and extended breakfast service which I was really impressed with. I have stayed here before and would reccomend the hotel to others.

Great lively city location

Room was good size with 2 double beds, reasonable size flat screen TV. OK bathroom (bath with shower). Breakfast on Sunday was chaotic. Very long queues, not enough staff, VERY slow. Monday's breakfast was an oasis of calm! Perfect location for ICC and NIA (10 minutes walk max), 15 minute walk to Bullring. Lively area with good choice of pubs and restaurants nearby, noisy club next door, could hear it from 11th floor. Car park is round the back down Gas Street and right into Berkeley Street (we had to phone for directions). Would stay again but not bother with Sunday breakfast.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The Mash House seemed promising but had run out of almost everything (except mash!) mid Saturday evening. Check what's left before you order drinks otherwise may be disappointed.
