Every thing in this hotel is perfect except the noisy night club in first floor at weekends

This hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the shopping available in Birmingham. The hotel is modern, rooms clean but the air conditioning was less than satisfactory. We could not get any heat in our room, despite the controls being easy to operate. At dinner in the hotel resteraunt, we had to move to another table due to the cold air from the air con. However the second table location was just as bad.. The staff advised they were having a problem with the air con, hence the plug in heaters situated around the room. All during the ng=ight, there were loud nosies, lmost like a foghorn, which we took to be due to an air block in the waterpipes. The staff advised we were just above the "plant room", where all the electrical equipment was, which would account for the noise. Overall the stay was enjoyable, just one or two things to sort and it would have been perfect.

The main door was out of order and it was not repaired in four days. The only access was through the tedies wheel chair door.

I picked this hotel because i like a view with my room and a contemporary look and trendy feel - the hotel did not disappoint. With comfort in mind, I booked a business-class room with breakfast included. Pros: Front Desk staff were extremely helpful - especially upon check-in. My airline had lost my luggage and they were very responsive in accommodating my needs until it arrived as well as alerting me in a timely manner when it arrived. The hotel room had all the amenities I would look for in a typical hotel room including an iron, hangers, plenty of space for clothing, a chair and desk, flatscreen tv, bed, a clean and very nice sized bath room with toiletries plus coffee, tea and espresso. The breakfast buffet served in the restaurant was a great mix of traditional English and Continental. There was no lack of variety and the food was fresh and often refilled. It was a professional yet casual set up with no fuss. The location was great if you want access to central Birmingham with everything about 5-10 mins walking distance. The housekeeping was thorough. Cons: The furniture -although nice- looked a bit worn. There was obvious wearing on some of the woodwork that needed to be repaired but it did not inhibit use. The gym was tiny and connected to the back of the spa. If you're looking for a large gym, you'll be disappointed but if you just want a quick workout on the machines or run on the treadmill - this will do and you'll have a great view too. The pillows were a flimsier than what I'm used to and could've been replaced with higher-grade pillows. The bed was comfortable overall.

Good, clean room. Was quiet and had good facilities.

We chise this hotel as it is virtually next door to the theatre that we were going to. Check in was very efficient, staff very friendly. The bar/restaurant is expensive, just a 5 minute walk away is a shopping complex with bars/restaurants galore - much better. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom toiletries were very good quality! You get discounted parking at the car park (next door). Overall, this hotel was good value and I would definitely stay there again.

The room was quite small, it in general tidy and clean but the carbet is little bet old. Excellent location, few minutes by walk to the new street station and the shopping centers

Right near train station, which is good, and near restaurants, but the street it's on is a little dodgy. Nice, but small, fitness center.

The hotel was fantastic and I would recomend it to anyone staying in Birmingham as it is right in the centre. The only slight fault is the parking, as you have to park in a NCP car park which, even with the discount from the hotel is £11 per day
