If you like sleeping in a warehouse
We were looking for a comfortable airport-accessible Birmingham hotel for our last night of a three-week UK visit. What the hotel touted as stylish and modern was more stark and cold to us. The location was hard to find, in an ugly industrial zone, and not near enough to the airport to walk (and had no transport service). The room was stark, not what had been requested eight months earlier--a double rather than twins--and badly planned. (The sofa is under the TV, which, in any event, didn't work). Synthetic wood floors. Dim lighting. The Internet isn't WiFi (as claimed and shown in the Web site) and hooks up in a dimly lit alcove with no space for working. The shower water spilled out on the floor and the sink drained badly. The breakfast buffet wasn't offered until after we had to be at the airport for our flight, and the exit to the parking lot was gated and we weren't given the code for that when we checked out and had to go back for it. Not at all what we had wanted in an airport hotel.

Perfect for the NEC, The hotel is a 5-8 minute walk from the venue, plenty of cheap onsite parking made this an ideal location!

Good place - basic but good hotel

Definitely would stay here again. Spartan lobby but rooms were new and spacious. TV and desk were both oddly small.

Modern room lots of style
The location was a bit dissapointing as we had hoped to be closer to the LG Arena than we actually were. We had a fair walk from the train station because a connecting tunnel had been closed off! To be fair, if the tunnel was open, a 15 minute walk was all. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was a good size and comfortable. My only gripe was that the walk-in shower had no door or curtain which resulted in a very wet bathroom!

A recommended location for Birmingham City centre, as only ten minutes approx by train and no parking problem. Would use again

Red Bull
Very disappointed.
The lobby was Spartan, cold & unwelcoming. Only two small chairs & a small table in lobby. Had to wait 3 hours for a suitable room to be made up. Lighting terrible in rooms. Glad we only stayed one night. Would not recommend this hotel.
