Leave the M42 at Junction 6 and take the A45 towards Birmingham for 1.7 miles. Turn right at the traffic lights onto Terminal Road and the hotel is situated on the right.

Overnight stay at Birmingham airport Travelodge

The hotel has a no frills but friendly atmosphere about it (Rather like a hostel environment). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Amenities are perfectly adequate for an overnight stay and the breakfast is very good value. The only misleading bit is on the website for this hotel where the location is claimed to be 0.4 km from the airport terminal, but that is from the old terminal which is now a freight base! The new terminal is on the opposite side of the airfield and to get to the hotel from there required a taxi at £9 but only £6 return when I used the excellent car service that is recommended at the hotel. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.
