Very poor hotel one star 2nd rate
After staying at several Devers hotels and staying at Herons Reach before we found that there standards have dropped. On our stay there we were forced to eat away from the hotel as we had a choice of pub food or a very poor menu in the so called Italian restaurant. Both my wife and myself felt our short trip away was spoiled and a waste of money. We will not be returning unless things improve greatly.

An excellent stay. The hotel
An excellent stay. The hotel food was very good and the service in the restaurant was wonderful. There was a problem with the room initially, but the receptionist resolved it successfully which is how it should be. Very friendly staff.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful
Lovely hotel with a beautiful swimmimng pool and delicious food. Drinks rather expensive. Ended up in a disabled room which is not good when you are 6 ft 3 and try to wash in a basin that is 3 ft frm floor!!!

The hotel is looking a little
The hotel is looking a little shabby in places for example the carpet in reception has seen better days and as you walk to your rooms the doors you pass really need a clean as they have black marks all over them, which is not a good look. Reception was unmanned when I came back alone to the hotel around midnight on a Saturday night, there was only a drunk guy sitting in reception. I walked into the hotel and up to my room without seeing another soul. Is there no security? I felt very vulnerable as a woman alone at that time of night. Breakfast was an improvement on the last time I satyed in this hotel as there were more staff on duty, the previuos two times I have stayed in this hotel in the last 12 months there seems to have been staff shortages resulting in queing for breakfast, not something I would have expected from this hotel chain.

Good Hotel.
Located far away
Good Hotel. Located far away from Blackpool to avoid hustle and bustle but near enough if you wanted to wander around. Facilities: Spa/ Health Centre, Gym, Squash, Swimming Pool and Golf all excellent. If you want any treatments book early as it is Very Popular!! We would definitely stay there again when we visit again.

Was pleased with the hotel,s f
Was pleased with the hotel,s facilities. I was disappointed with the choice of childrens food for the evening meal, the only vegetables available was baked beans, also the adults menu was over expensive. Apart from that my stay was fine.

Good standard of facilities, clean
Good standard of facilities, clean and comfortable. Terrible problem with the door key cards that didn't really get resolved. Staff were not really flexible.
