Tiny beds

January 2013 I stayed at this Hotel, in a single room, While I am only 5,5 tall and average build, the bed was definatley child size as i managed to fall out of it twice, the breakfast was a pile of either burned dry sausages or sloppy other options, the hotel cleanliness was a little lacking and the diningroom was disgusting, they had 3 waiting staff for at least 100 guests, so getting a pot of tea was a bit of a wait, i asked for the use of an Iron and ironing board, i might as well as asked for the takings from the safe, i was told one would be sent to my room, i didnt arrive, i asked again the next day and was told i couldnt have one and they couldnt find them and they apparently had 'loads' of them accorrding to the receptionist....one good thing, the bathroom was very clean.....

More OAP than VIP

Stayed June 2009 and felt more like Old Age Home than hotel. Apart from carers was only guest under 70. Badly in need of redecoration and renovation. Signs of water damage on corridor walls and on old Butlin's photo's. Check-in was too rushed for my liking (had to get meal times from another guest). Was very pleased with room however, well furnished and clean. Bathroom was modern and spotless. Was less pleased with stains (possibly urine) on corridor carpet. First night in dining room was greeted by whom I assumed to be the Head Waitress/Server not with "Can I help you?, Hello! or Can I See Your Room Card?" but with "AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!". Based on all my experiences on that first day I can guarantee I will not be going back again

The mold in shower room could

The mold in shower room could be removed quite easily . The room was small and dark one wonders in the push for saving power, whether it will lead to more people going blind. The views of dirty roofs only. With only one small chairapart from bed not to comfortable Amitted for a further £20 per night proable a better room could have had obtained
