Enjoy all that legendary Blackpool has to offer at the four-star Hilton Blackpool hotel. Located on the town's famous promenade, it could not be closer to the action with nearby Blackpool tower and Blackpool pleasure beach. Take in the sea air while enjoying easy access to all local attractions and transport links, or relish a night in with delicious food available from the hotel's restaurant, a quiet drink in the lounge and lively entertainment most weekends. Relax and recover with the on-site fitness centre and sauna.

Dining

Choose from the hotel's lounge bar where you can enjoy live entertainment most weekends, and watch live sports events on the 42-inch screens. Dine in the promenade restaurant whilst experiencing beautiful Blackpool sea views. You can also choose from any of the freshly prepared dishes on the 24-hour room service menu.

Rooms

Stay in traditional luxury with rooms hosting either twin beds or a double bed with adjoining rooms available upon request. All rooms have scenic sea views and a 32-inch LCD flat panel TV, so you can sit back, relax and watch the latest on-demand movies. You can bring the whole family with a choice of either a family guest room or family deluxe room with extra space for the little ones on the sofa beds and/or bunk beds. Or, you can truly spoil yourself in one of the hotel's suites hosting a separate lounge, working and dining areas and a large bathroom.

Business trip

I regularly stay at Hilton hotels on business and am a Gold member. In the past this hotel IMO was poor for a Hilton and badly managed. However on this visit and my last I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement. There seems to be a lot of new staff who are now at the normal excellent Hilton standard. So yep I would now recommend it if travelling to Blackpool.

Business trip

The staff were very friendly and informative on reception. One mature waitress was doing all the work in the dining room, while a mature male manager stood around the front of the restaurant doing very little. Even though the restaurant was quiet food was slow to be served, the food was very enjoyable. Bar drinks more expensive than restaurant prices for some reason?

Great hotel...but avoid the bar!

Good: Fantastic breakfast (best I've experienced in a hotel)...Large Bed...Fantastic Sea View...Clean room...Efficient reception staff...Good gym & pool. Bad: Hotel bar is a rip-off (£8 for a glass of wine!) & bar service not too hot either...Bathrooms could do with a spruce up...Resent paying £2.50 a night for the car park (It'd be no problem for the Hilton to include it in the booking). Would definitely stay again just wouldn't frequent the hotel bar!

Shabby and unclean - not recommended

The hotel rooms are a good size and have all the facilities you would expect but the whole hotel desperately needs renovation. The wallpaper in the bedroom was torn in places and walls quite dirty. The whole place had a musty smell. The corridors being particularly bad. On our first occasion dining in the hotel the service was terrible. I questioned the fish brought for our young child and the server didn't come back until the meal had finished. We asked for well done steak and got medium (the least of our worries but not a good start). The attitude of the hotel can be summed up by the menu for the evening being covered in grease stains and stapled into a glass cabinet - what would it have taken to photocopy or print a clean version?! At breakfast on our first morning I discovered chewing gum under the table (I wasn't particularly looking for it) and on the same day I watched a member of hotel staff spitting in the car park! Overall dreadful and not recommended.

Good for the price

The location of the hotel wasn't bad but also wasn't all that great. The major attractions were still a few miles south but the view of the ocean wasn't too bad. The walls were incredibly thin. Neighbors played loud music till midnight and after hotel staff quieted them down for me, they persisted. The hotel staff as courteous as they were couldn't have helped anyway given the thin walls. You could hear everything from talking to TV to peeing. Not fun trying to sleep or for privacy.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

AJ's Bistro had some good food. It was nice to eat in a nice quiet restaurant and get away from the fast food offerings all around.
