The hotel has been family run for over 4 generations. Nivens Health Club is available for all guests from 06:00 to 22:00 daily. There are 3 gymnasiums, a pool side bar, jacuzzi, squash court, sauna, hair salon, beauty and massage. This is a lovely hotel with an excellent location and perfect for those who want to visit Blackpool without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle. (GW 10/2008) The exterior of the building has large colonial columns with a pitched slate rooms and at night is illuminated with a blue halogen glow. The hotel is situated on St Annes seafront overlooking the Irish Sea and beaches. Located approximately 1 mile away from Blackpool airport and 2 miles from Blackpool. The recently renovated St Annes square is only a stones throw away from all your shopping needs.

- The boutique rooms are a new addition since June 2007 and are very popular, especially for weekend breaks. These are much larger that standard with all the facilities, such as remote colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hair dryer and direct dial telephone as standard. All boutique rooms are front facing with excellent views of the beach.
