My daughter and I stayed here

My daughter and I stayed here when travelling around country England. We enjoyed our stay and the young gentleman in reception could not have been more helpful. I wish I had his name to mention here. The hotel was once houses and this adds to its charm. The room was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was fine. We would stay there again however it was a reasonable walk to Brighton Pier and centre of town. But it was not onerous.

Out of the Way

This hotel is okay if you want to visit Hove rather than Brighton. It is in a very quiet residential neighborhood a 40-minute walk from Brighton's center city, with nothing to do nearby. Be prepared to take a taxi or a local bus a few blocks away (which I had to figure out myself since the desk agents did not mention buses).

Entertainment tip: Long walk from hotel

As per comments below, this is a long distance away from Brighton's shopping, restaurants, nightlife, attractions, etc.

The room was small but clean, everything worked. There were several steps to go up and down after getting out of the lift. A reasonably priced hotel for what you get. Staff were all very friendly. (Especially the night porter who made me toast when I got in at 3am).

I had a quiet, single room at the back with all I needed for a short stay.It is very near the beach and seafront, just 200yards.Breakfast was really good and the service was quick and pleasant. I had a problem with my bill which they sorted out quickly, and its a very reasonably priced hotel. All in all a very good nights stay
