Dining

Regency Restaurant
A stay in Brighton would not be complete without a visit to one of the best seafood restaurants in the City - The Regency Restaurant. It is the oldest restaurant in Brightoon & Hove and with it's large terrace and superb views over the West Pier (see below) it also one of the most popular. You can experience the flavours of local caught fish, lobster, oysters, mussels, Dover sole, crab and other varieties depending on the season. Prime Scoth steaks and other meat dishes are always served as are vegetarian dishes. The restuarant is highly reccommended by the Evening Standard, The Spectator, Brighton's Evening Argus and has received rave reviews from both Jay Rayner and Rick Stein amongst others.

I thought that for a 2* hotel,

I thought that for a 2* hotel, the stay was very good. Although the building could do with some modernisation and redecoration, the room that we had was large, with views over the beach and sea. It had a great ceiling to floor bay window and a recently renovated ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast had a good range of options. We had a great stay.
