Great location, shame about the service.

This was our 2nd stay here. Last time we were checked in a little early, given a free extended check out & offered a good price upgrade. This time the staff were a little rude and unhelpful. The location is great and the pool is lovely, but we won't be returning as we have received much better service in other hotels in Bristol.

Very loud music played from next door room hotel acted very quickly when we complained. Pillows very flat not enough for two people. Room very clean, but chair in room very uncomfortable. Pool really nice. Breakfast fantastic value.

インターネットもLANケーブルで使用できるのが日本からPCを持ち込んでも安心して利用できるのが、メリットと感じている。
バスタブがないのが残念であるが、清潔感もあり不満はない。

3 Stockwerke ohne Lift, - schwierig für ältere Leute. Zufahrt und Parking erschwert. Wir waren im 2. Stock der Dependance (Nebenhaus) untergebracht. Obwohl durch ebookers (Kreditkarte) bezahlt, hat man uns den Zimmerpreis nochmals verlangt mit der Begründung, das Geld sei nicht eingetroffen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Das Morgenessen ist nicht gerade üppig.

We visited our daughter who lives in Clifton, so the location was very convenient. Our room, #231, was in the adjacent building, located on the first floor at the back. It was huge and overlooked the garden and the cemetery/park beyond - highly recommended. The garden wasn't accessible except from the room or rooms on the ground floor. Contact the hotel and ask about room locations, sizes and amenities. Staff was very responsive by email. Victoria Square is directly in front of the hotel and a bus stop is just across the street.

Warmly welcomed by staff on arrival, given a free complimentary upgrade to superior deluxe room, and offered discount on breakfast. Room very nice. Easy parking in NCP car park next door which is free for guests at weekends. Excellent location right on waterfront, close to bars and restaurants.

A very nice hotel on the outskirts

A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Bristol City Centre. It is literally opposite the Temple Meads train station, so great for public transport users. To get into town is maybe 10 minutes walk. The hotel is very clean, the room was large and comfortable and staff were friendly and efficient. The inclusive breakfast was great too!

Although the front desk isn't manned 24 hours, and we arrived after hours (due to our airline), we were quickly met at the door. Even more, another guest was kind enought to let us thru the parking gate while we waited the short 10 minutes it took for the man to arrive with the keys. We stayed here for our weekend trip to visit Bath and attend a Regency Ball there. The appartment has everything, a small store just accross the street and many small eating establishments withing 200 yards. TV, internet, kitchen furnishing (with washer) all 1st quality. Couch and bed matresses need to be upgraded/improved (well used).

New, upscale hotel located in quiet pastoral setting yet only minutes away from Bristol airport. Staff was extremely helpful and responsive to every question and request. Room was immaculate and quite comfortable. Got a good night's rest before our flight back to the U.S the next morning.

The hotel is short walk from the train station and close to the center of town. We arrived early and the staff was most helpful in storing our lugage while we went out exploring Bristol. The room was clean, neat and quite which is what we most want in a hotel room. On top of that, the price was very reasonable.

Great location with easy access to shopping and sights in Bristol. Small fitness room but it was adequate. The staff were very helpful and the NCP parking lot is close for parking. Would definitely stay here again!

Inadequate supplies left by cleaning staff,
even when requesting did not receive face cloths. Complimentary newspaper not delivered every day. When one of our rooms was extremely hot, we called the front desk and received no help. This apparently is an extremely busy hotel, yet when we checked out there was only one person manning the front desk while at least 6 different groups were trying to check out. We enjoyed our trip and plan on returning to England but I don't believe I will EVER stay at this hotel again.

The Arnos Manor Hotel, Bristol was built in 1760 as the luxurious home of wealthy Bristol merchant William Reeve. Unlike many Bristol hotels and accommodation, this historic building boasts many original Georgian Gothic features, such as the superbly decorative Chapel lounge, central staircase and fine Stucco ceilings in the ground floor rooms. The hotel has BT Openzone throughout, giving WIFI access in the public areas, conference rooms and bedrooms. Additional facilities include a large complimentary car park with 200 spaces.

The hotel is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is good. The hotel is very close to public transport and to the city.
Having stayed there on many occasions, would not hesitate to stay again.

Checkin was quick and friendly. The room was good sized for England, although laid out slightly oddly, with a raised platform making up about a quarter of the room space. The bathroom was large, new, and had good water pressure in the shower. The restaurant was pricey, but the room service menu was also served in the bar, and was very reasonable and tasty, plus the atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. Breakfast in the Cloisters Restaurant was tasty with a pretty extensive cold buffet included. Large parking lot on site.

'Sleep Tight' - the bed bugs will defini

A very cold welcome on arrival at Travelodge Bristol. Following that a room dripping with mould and damp. They had tried to cover the mould with paint ... I might not have noticed had the smell not been so vile.
We asked to move rooms. The second room smelt awful and obviously had not been cleaned in a while. There was mould in the shower and the carpet was filthy. There was also only 1 pillow and 1 towel in a double room. When we asked for additions they said they had none left - none left, in a hotel?! Couldn't be bothered to look more like!
The staff were of little help and seemed to have no pride in the building or their roles. Our complaints during the stay fell on deaf ears and even Travelodge head office had little sympathy for our hellish stay.
I can safely say had I not been armed with alco - gel I would not have spent the night! 'Sleep Tight' - the bed bugs will definitely bite!
