BEST WESTERN PLUS Maldron Hotel in Cardiff city offers a newly built, 12-storey accommodation with 216 well appointed air conditioned guest rooms. We're big on charm here, which is perhaps not surprising as we're located in one of Cardiff's tallest buildings! Panoramic views, excellent service and fantastic local attractions all await, as do complimentary Wi-Fi, a laptop safe and tea & coffee making facilities. Conferences are welcome here too, with eight rooms to choose from in a convenient venue. All guests can have access to our fitness room located on Level 2, but if you simply want to relax, few hotels in Wales will welcome you as warmly.

First time in Cardiff

Maldron Hotel is very conveniently located one short block from Cardiff Central train station. There are a myriad of restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance. Cardiff Castle and Bute Park are also an easy walk from the hotel. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We heard no noise from the trains coming and going. We would definitely stay again on a return trip.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Although the Maldron has a restaurant and bar onsite, there are many additional dining options available right in the immediate area. The Great Western, right across the street, has very economical specials on food and drink. We especially enjoyed their breakfasts - tasty, and the service is quick.
