Hilton Cardiff

Pleasant 3 nights stay. Hotel is centrally located, across from Cardiff castle, next to all shopping centers, pubs i.e. inexpensive food/beer. The "This is Cardiff" book in the room is very helpful, full of fact and figures. Unfortunately no free internet access in the business center.

Great location and facility, as it is near the Cardiff castle, shopping areas and Millenium stadium. Excellent breakfast spread. Unfortunately, both parking and internet charges are relatively high.

Excellent facilities, friendly and very helpful staff. Very clean throughout the whole hotel and an excellent location. Drinks were slightly overpriced but you come to expect that with this kind of hotel.

Went on the open air tour bus , great way to see sights when on limited time,went through the castle which is opposite the hotel, and because of the location we were able to stroll through the streets and mall's to shop & have dinner, we also felt quite safe.

Hotel in great location, not quite 5 star, but did the job for night out in Cardiff. Breakfast service poor - was greeted by the grumpiest woman in history! Was told to just sit down? Where? I had to get chair from another table as our table for 4 only had 3! Luke warm self service food...poor! Couple of bottles of wine @£28 each seemed pricey in the lounge bar too! But, great location!

Very comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast. Central location, ideal for shopping and entertainment venues.

We booked the King Hilton Executive suite knowing it would be a little nicer and have a private bar/restaurant. We had no idea this bar would be compliments of the house as were the morning and evening snacks provided. It was a wonderful treat after a long day of running around the city. The view of the castle, with a few drinks, was the perfect setup for our night out.

Location very good for visiting the city and Millennium Stadium. Friendly staff. The executive club closes a bit early during the weekend (08.00 pm). Breakfeast in executive club was more varied than expected. We where told that it should be "continental", but they also provided us with things like scrambled egg and bacon. I had expected a little bit more when staying in an executive room. Only one evening was the bed made clear (and with complimentary chocolate). The biggest problem was the noisy air condition. If we stopped it the room got very warm with no good air. If it was on the air was good, but the noise from the "wind" was annoying. The all over impression is very good and I will recomend the hotel to my friends, but may be in a standard room.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Cardiff. It is in the perfect location for any visit to Cardiff (just across the street from Cardiff Castle and next to all of the shopping). The only thing that I thought was odd/bad about the hotel is that they charge you for access to the internet or Wi-Fi (in fact, they have separate charges for both). A hotel of this caliber should have free wifi at the very least.

This is a superb hotel. The location and facilities are excellent and the customer service was exceptional. I look forward to staying here again.
