The hotel needs a major renovation. From the outside it looks terrible. The reason I stayed twice is the very convenient location.
Its shabby but I guess most of the guests are short stay via travel agencies and bus tours but for me staying for over 2 weeks, it was the convenience only.

Overall cleanliness was good, however thick dust at the bottom of the wardrobe, for the price we paid was a bargain, One major reoccurring incident that housekeeping left our room door unlocked, this was reported to reception who stated our complaint would be passed to the manager.
The following day on returning to our room in the evening found again our room door left unlocked this also happened to our friends room next to us, yet again complaint made to reception.
It seems the security of our possessions was not a priority, a written complaint have been made to head office, 3 weeks on no reply received yet.

This hotel stands in impresive grounds with good car park security, but don't be fooled by that. It has seen better days, the whole hotel is dated and could do with some investment. That having been said I have stayed on a number of occasions and it's fine. A decent pool the bar is OK although the menu is limited and basic, there is also a resterant offering carvery, not that I have tried so I can't comment.
It's a bit off the beaten track and 4 miles or so from the M6 J3 or 6 miles from the M42 J6. The rooms are OK and it is normaly good value for money

This hotel is in a very nice enviroment and could be beautiful but is now a little tired. However I would definately stay there again and recommend friends and colleagues to stay here when travelling on business.

Very good hotel for the price you get when booking early.
When checking in you can upgrade from 'room only' to 'bed and breakfast' for £5/person/night which seemed to us good value.
The room had two single beds, a desk, two chairs, round table, kettle, hair dryer, closet, trouser press, bath tub/shower.
The curtains darken the room efficiently - no problem sleeping.
The rooms not facing the motorway are very silent.
Several bus groups of elderly travellers stayed in the hotel. There will be some queues in the reception desk, bar and breakfast if you happen to be there at the same time the groups are.
Free wifi in the lounge.
Free parking in the yard.

We stayed for one night while traveling through coventry.
The room was a good size and clean, breakfast was good food and plenty of it. We used the swimming pool and sauna facilities both in the evening and morning and were happy that they were as advertised.

Nice clean hotel. Modern decor. However the rooms did not have fridges so we had to store our drinks in the hotels restauarant fridge. Not ideal, as it was 27 celcius the day we stayed!

Dinning is limited but apart from that the hotel is well located for all the midlands moterways, staff are helpful and polite, the rooms large and comfortable, parking is excelent and secure.

The hotel is located close to the city centre (for those who are walking) and close enough to a major highway (for those who is driving). It is reasonably clean and have all the expected facilities (including small gymnasium which is not advertised).

Good hotel located on the edge of Coventry. Wouldn't recommend if you need to get downtown quickly but close to Comb Abbey and the M6 motorway. Good basic amenities at a great price and clean rooms. Free parking.

It was very inexpensive because of the NEC show I was attending so I was happy to have a clean room with double sheeted bed that was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.
Difficult to find due to lack of street names on the roads. They didn't have my reservation when I arrived. I particularly chose this location for the free internet so when asked for my confirmation number, I asked to use the internet to pull it up, but they didn't have internet. It took over 30 minutes to check in.
I had to lock my door from the outside hallway and the bath leaked onto the floor.
I wouldn't choose this location unless it was under dire circumstances as is applicable with the NEC Spring Fair. Under these circumstances, I would stay again because of the price.

Once a shooting lodge belonging to Brandon Manor, it was converted into a hotel in 1946. This is now a premier hotel with 17 acres of grounds in the Warwickshire countryside. The Brandon Lodge A's own sporting traditions continue with facilities for clay pigeon shooting, archery and croquet on the lawn. Brandon Hall also offers pitch and putt and six squash courts for the more energetic guest. A brand new swimming pool and leisure centre is complimentary for all guests. There are also 8 beauty and rooms with a large selection of treatments available. This is an excellent hotel which is highly recommended and offering fantastic value for money(08/06 IT) An impressive tree-lined avenue forms the driveway to this 17th century hotel. This is a good standard 3 star hotel just outside Coventry City also within easy reach of Birmingham, Stratford, Warwick and the NEC. This hotel offers excellent value for money. (GW 05/2008) Traditional street facing hotel. nice older style hotel friendly staff rooms need a bit of attention but nice size & clean with nice bathroom & plenty of towels . Nice quiet hotel would definately recommend.
