This hotel was delightful. I had

This hotel was delightful. I had read some less than enthusiastic reviews and arrived with trepidation. A large group was checking in when I arrived so I had a couple of minutes to wait. When I reached check in the receptionist gave me a wink and told me I had a lovely room. I assumed this was the normal greeting until I got upstairs. She wasn't kidding! I was in the Chatsworth room which was simply stunning. A huge room that dwarfed the bed, with two sitting room areas and the biggest bath in the bathroom that I've ever seen. I struggled to get inspired by the room service menu - as a single woman I'm not comfortable eating alone in restaurants- so asked for the restaurant menu. I was then permitted to order from the main menu and have it delivered to my room for a £2 tray charge. Food was excellent and not extortionate as was the room service breakfast. The view from the bedroom was fabulous and the bed comfortable. I couldn't fault it! Overall I was very impressed.
