The Claremont was extensively refurbished in 2004 and offers an individual style and luxury that ranks amongst the best offered on the island. The hotel has 56 rooms including a limited number of Platinum executive rooms with high specification interiors and amazing views across Douglas Bay.
The Claremont also boasts one of the islands finest restaurants, , and extensive conference and events facilities.

friendly reception, room allocated on first floor off corridor undergoing refurbishment. Room looked out on to back of hotel flat roof. Dull and uninspiring view with grey outlook and water cascading throughout the night ? from blocked gutters. Room clean and warm. Breakfast good and hearty, despite running out of kippers! Friendly staff lent me an umbrella and offered complimentary coffee in the lounge. Housekeeper obliging in allowing me to stay after check out until 1pm. An improving hotel
