Relax like royalty at BEST WESTERN Queens Hotel! Built in 1878, Dundee's most prestigious privately owned hotel has all the hallmarks of a quality residence, with a fantastic location to match. Ideally situated for golf, with Saint Andrews and Carnoustie nearby, you'll have your pick of parkland courses as well as coastal links rounds adding a challenge to your charm-filled break. Minutes from the shopping center, university, theater and bustling West End bars and restaurants of this Scottish haven, our own Nosey Parkers is well worth a...well, nosey! Impressive conference and banqueting facilities make working away a hassle-free exercise, while major (and not so well known) towns and cities are nearby for business and leisure outings with a difference.

Dundee

The room was fantastic. The secretary i dont think liked giving out the number to the gate becuase they keep changing it you needed to keep asking. I dont think the night porter likes doing his job. he didnt want to let us in at 3 in the morning. We had the door knocked at 8:30 for maintanance!!!!!!!!!!! and then again at 9 for cleaning the room. Tell them what rooms need to be done and dont bother people before they have left.

The hotel is along established

The hotel is along established one in Dundee just out of the main shopping centre (Winston Churchill stayed there as the local MP many times from 1908 onwards) but close to theatres and galleries. It has been updates since Winston's time and now has free parking for guests, large comfortable beds and decent bathrooms. We stayed two nights and were comfortable. Most staff were helpful. We did not try the restaurant but ate out of the hotel at some good city centre venues close by. Byzanteum is worth trying for Mediteranian food.

family get away

the hotel is in a the town .so it is near a lot of shops and places to eat .we were on the 3rd floor so we had a lovely view of the town and the river Tay/the beds were comfy but the bathrooms could have done with a better cleaning . they did say that we were in the older part of the hotel that had not been renovated yet and that was because we changed rooms as we wanted to be next door to other family members. the staff were very friendly and very helpful. i would recommend it,
